I lived with my grandparents most of my life. They helped raise me. Golden Girls was one of the shows we watched together. So, it’s very nostalgic for me. Love Overboard sounds like a book I may really like. 🥰 Frankenstein surprised me. I did not expect to like it, but I really did! Glad you enjoyed it too.
I haven't been watching you that long, long enough though that my heart aches for you. Not necessarily in a sad way - your determination for personal/spiritual growth in the Lord and as a single mom... schooling for your kids... you have a full plate and you are still encouraging others 🙌. Just wanted to share this with you 💙
@@junewood3012 thanks so much. I really appreciate the encouragement! It means more than you know! It’s a blessing to be able to encourage others ❤️…sometimes I feel like I’m not making a difference-it’s encouraging to know God is using my story to glorify Him!
I’m reading a Biblical fiction I’ve had going for awhile. Counted with the Stars by Connilyn Cossette. I’ve also been back into Karen Kingsbury so I’m reading the Angels Walking series. Which surprises me because a lot of her books are sad. I want to get some Angela Hunt books and Karen Kingsbury next month for my 60th. Hey, love my books! ❤I ordered both Ashley Dill. I’m looking forward to them. I keep different genres going at a time. I bought a book about Corrie Ten Boom at Hobby Lobby. The Watchmaker’s Daughter. 🤗🫶🏻LovedThe Hiding Place! Great video! 👏🏻
@@amyodell7157 sounds like you have a lot going on- I do that too! I haven’t read Kingsbury in awhile. So many of her books are about the Baxter family and I’ve only read the first series. I feel overwhelmed by them all lol. I want to order the first Ashley Dill soon! Corrie Ten Boom books are great. Thanks for watching!
@@bethanybringsbooks You’re welcome! I just picked up The Blooms that Broke Us a few minutes ago. I’m five pages in. I haven’t figured out if she had a miscarriage or the guy beat her up. I’ll keep reading. 😍
I loved Love Overboard, there’s going to be a second book next year. This will be a reread at some point for me. I love Olde American Spirit. I’m in that book club, too. Small world.
There’s a Christian cozy series, called Hope Street Church Mysteries by Ellery Adams. I too have KU, but still borrow ebooks from my library. This series isn’t on KU. There is audio and I borrowed them from my library. It centers on a diverse Sunday School class who gets involved in solving murders. Clean, murders aren’t graphic. I’ve read the entire series and love the main characters. Very light romance, nice faith content.
What a cute kitty! I don't love cats normally but he just looked so tiny. ❤ I loved the Jane Austen love!!! 💕💕💕 Oh man, secondhand embarrassment in books I CANNOT do! I will stay far away from that one. 😂 Loved heading your thoughts on Frankenstein! Tammy and I read it as a buddy read - we should have read it all together! My thoughts will be on my video this coming Sunday. Such an interesting book!
@@insearchofwonder I’m trying to make sure the kitty is staying outside 😂 I don’t need more in the house - already have two! I’m not always a fan of second hand embarrassment but it was quite funny in this one! I need to go watch your video! Interested to hear your thoughts on Frankenstein.
