The Blues as we know it could not have existed without white guys with guitars.. and the inventions of whites at the time like recording equipment and electricity and instruments
Seeing Kaleo live was absolutely riveting. Chilling performance all the way through. Didnt interact with the crowd much, just showed up and fucking DESTROYED their whole set with so much passion and then dipped. Literally was so surreal. Never seen a band show up so damn ready to get down to business and execute at the highest level possible. I really need to see them again. They are one of those bands that is just an unmatched gem in the music industry. Entirely unproblematic, EVERY song is a banger, extremely versatile. A lucky gift in entertainment. Only once in a blue moon does a band as perfect as Kaleo come along.
It seems to me that the best Iceland can offer is pretty much the world's best. The cd is exceptional. I can't stop listening to it. It's low down dirty blues, it's rock, it's beautiful ballads. They have it all.
It's quite possibly one of the most unique albums I've ever heard. Every song seems to be a totally different style, and they're ALL amazing! How is that possible?! Most bands have a single style, and that's it. These guys are just fucking phenomenal!
I've only been listening to them for a few months, and they've quickly become my favorite band. Their music has gotten me trough some rough and weird times, and I hope that they become better appreciated, because they deserve all of the success in the world.

@my mom Nah. I just sort of assumed you did this sort of thing for attention. The sort of attention where folks react all angry and make moral grandstands. No one was paying you any attention. I keep finding new songs by them thinking that each one is the greatest and there's no way they have another song as good as this or better but yet it keeps happening! All of their songs are incredible! 😍😍
Totally dig the old time feel of his music. Recently discovered him for myself and have yet to find a song that let me down. His style is very refreshing and pleasing to hear. Glad real artists still exist in this generation.
I officially feel as if ive been under rock cuz im just discovering them. Guess i wasnt ready till now. Listening to them makes me feel like im connecting w kindred spirits i havnt seen in a long time. Thank God 4 the internet
I can't stop listening to Kaleo, the whole album is amazing! its haunting, soulful and I can't get enough. I haven't felt music like this in a long time.
Whenever I listen this type of music, I feel like I'm the main protagonist of some action movies and I have done all the fight and war and now I'm going home walking and this songs is playing in the background and all the people are watching me.

Shaun Ethan C. Phangcho - I agree with you except regarding the lyrics. If the lyrics are written from or about that era in history, I think this generation should hear it. This way they can truly understand what one's life was. But I also understand where you are coming from as well.
Been listening to you guys for a long time; so happy to see you guys blowing up, you truly deserve it. You're the first band to where I actually love every single song. Keep it up boys!
It is a great surprise that the best Blues and Bluegrass bands that I have heard for a long time came from the far north of Europe. Kaleo and Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra!
This title reminds me of when I ended up with a broken arm due to abuse, then was not even taken in for medical care. It was so painful, I thought I was having a cardiac event. Young band, old soul, modern feel, amazing combination.

First time hearing this. How can they sound like this? They sing with the souls of blues singers long gone.
You get a like.

You're going to be in the rock n roll hall of fame one day guys, I feel it.
Agree on that... They're going to be Hall of Famers. And Rock Icons💪💪👌
Yep, these beings sing with soul, spirit, universal resonance...... Badass, keep on keeping on Kaleo.
Bubblegum Witch the rock n roll hall of fame is a joke. there are way to many bands that havent been inducted...run dmc wtf
Kurt Millsap, why are you concerned with The Hall of Fame to begin with? Bag on RUNDMC all you want but the Hall itself is the joke.

Underrated band right here. Love their music so much
This is the most pure-blooded Delta blues song I've ever heard, and it comes from a bunch of Icelandic guys. I'm impressed.
This is the return of old school rock and blues into the modern music view!!
