Nice job, we usually put plastic on the side of the walls before filling the pit. When the pit is full we flap over that plastic so we can make a better air tight seal.
On my familys dairy in australia we chop oats as silage.Our contractor has to run twin wheels on they wheel loader other ways they wood sink in the silage
He did a nice job on packing the silage and I liked the song playing in the background and nice drone work also and here's a question how long did it take from start to finish to fill the clamp.
we have lots of pits so we never have to put a cut ontop of another one, just easier to manage the feed, i.e if we have a but crop which doesnt analyse well we can always open another pit for the milking cows and just feed the not so good to the younder stock and beef animals

normally it takes about 15 hours in 1 day, but this time we got rained off so it took about the same time just split over two days thanks

take that valve off the trailer that stops you from opening the tailgate until you have tipped a little, its a pain in the ass.
