Hi from North Dakota. I just finished five from my own trimmings. Spent alot of time. It looks like I randomly stuck my boughs in a pot. Just a mess. Do you just use single branches? Not boughs with 3 or more branches kinda like a fan? I will redo mine, I'm thinking that is the difference. Thankyou for the motivation!
Hi!!😊 thank you so much, I really appreciate it! 🤍 I find that it’s easiest if I just stick them in and enjoy myself, You will surprise yourself!!! 🇨🇦 😊
Looks amazing and so professional! I need to do this. I've always wanted to learn how to make my own arrangements. Thanks for the tutorial and I love the background music as well 🌸✨🌼
You do beautiful work! This is exactly what I was looking for. My question is about saving everything you put in the pot, do they stay alive thru the summer and you're able to use them the next year? How does that work?
Hi, and thank you for the compliment, I really appreciate it and loved your questions! What you can save is the pics (ornaments & pinecones, and lights. You can use these year after year. In the spring when the greenery starts browning and the soils is thawed, I just pull them out and you can't save them. The greenery is live and clipped off of plants, I purchase them at my local greenhouse. You will be able to go to a local one in your area for this too! At my local green house, they sell them quite inexpensively in bundles. Unfortunately, they start browning as the weather warms in the spring. But, and most lovely, is this planters last and stays green all winter long. After you pull the greenery out, I reuse the soil, add a slow release fertilizer, and add more soil if needed, then I plant for the spring/summer. I will be putting out a video out on my spring planting. I am a avid gardener, flowers and vegetables. If you are making one, please send me a pic. I would love to see it! Happy creating!
