I'm just now finding out of Pastor Dr. R. L. White, Jr. passing. When I was staying with my brother in the mid 90s in Lithonia, GA I would watch him on BET. That was a preaching man. He would put a lil old school humor in his sermons. Him along with Rev. Jackson were my TV church ministers. Rest in Him Dr. White.
Amen im Still watching i Miss Dr. R. L. White Jr. He was a great Man of God he helped me in some Dark time in my life. Me and my family was Members of Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church. He was a teacher and you understand him in his teachens. He's truly Missed. My Heart goes out to First Lady Lorraine J White.

I remember when Pastor R.L.White use to come to Columbia,SC to preach revival at the The first Nazareth Baptist Church where Pastor Blakey Scott was is Pastoring I would make my way to hear Pastor R.Lwhite Preach the revival and it was always do powerful and blesses your soul.... this was a phenomenal going home service ❤️ praying for Pastor White Family that God will give All of you peace, comfort, strength and and understanding in Jesus name and continue to look to the hills from whence cometh All of your help and it cometh from the Lord 🙌🙌🙌
Every opportunity I listened to the man of God every. Shocked by his call from labor to reward. Well deserved Soldier of the Cross. RIH Praying with the Church 🙏🏼

Condolences to the family of Rev. White. I remember him coming to Columbia S.C. To do revival at the 1st Nazareth Baptist Church for years. Brought forth God Word. U talking about people from every where making there way to 1st Nazareth Baptist Church. If you didn't get there early and I mean early. U wouldn't have a seat. He was a mighty man of God! He will be missed.

I can totally identify with you everything you have said regarding your beloved husband-his love for you, the church, his health/sickness and his legacy. I stand with you and all other widows, especially those who have served with their husbands as spiritual leaders(pastors) for the Kingdom of God. I Met you and Pastor White over twenty years ago at Northside Hospital, the two of you had such a beautiful spirit. I watched Rev. White in Saturday nights (TV 57 WATC) . He was an awesome man of God. My prayers are with you, your immediate family and the Mt. Ephraim church family!
