As someone who practices Iai in this case Seitei I can't stress enough for all practitioners to perfect your Reiho. Reiho should be treated like a kata. And personally it's the most challenging part of Seitei. Opening and closing Reiho as well as Mae dictate the skill set you have to the judges before you start the set.

@@iamOwenG remember Seitei is not practical. It's about showing control over the sword and ones body. That's the purpose. So show the intent of the kata the purpose for each movement. But showing calmly, precise and sharp. Don't rush it.

Tsuka Ate - Your right knee collapses to the left when you turn to thrust. Try stepping more in line with your left knee to help ameliorate this tendency. Keep you ko- and kusuriyubi a bit tighter to avoid the kissaki dipping in kaburi.Nice big cut and nice otherwise!

Great content. Now i'm only a shôdan in znkr. But did notice some things. If I may. Sword tip in mae and ushiro, dips a small bit in o-chiburi , and are not straight. And in kesagiri, when doing hasso-no-kamae, it then looks like your left foot turns slightly inwords, and are not straight. And one more thing, when doing nôto, your koryu shows thro too mutch. Not znkr start vertikal going to horisontel. I'm so sorry if I affened you senpai shogo.

Morotetsuki- A little ponderous! Keep it going as teki will not stand and wait for you! For nukitsuke, seme a little higher (tsukakashira to the about ones hairline) so the sword can drop onto teki’s head and then thrust immediately….no pausing! Keep the sword in the midline as you perform hiki nuki and turn. Sword should be completely horizontal after each cut, not dipped! I notice now that you’re not making koiguchi correctly. One should not be able to see the saya’s koiguchi and you may even feel the blade sides slide along your ‘boshi naitenkin’ (thenar webspace)

Kesagiri - You must keep you right hand as low as possible when the monouchi is cutting into teki’s wakibara. Otherwise this is not a proper cut. You have to really flex your wrist to do this. It’s very hard! A little to wide at the end of kirioroshi. Nice cuts though…nice and fluid. You look a little too square in hasso no kamae…like the Jodo version. try angling slightly
