Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) had a very close relationship with her fellow fighter pilot Maria Rambeaux. Maria has a child, Monica, who later becomes important to the MCU herself. What is not explored is that Carol and Maria were the very best of friends, there are no pictures of the father around, and he isn't discussed, neither as a donor nor as a lost/deceased/deadbeat/otherwise occupied love interest. So for all of Monica's life, she had two moms - until Carol got abducted for a few years. But now she's back and all that love and chemistry is right there for the asking... And I was asking. But, you know... International sales and all. Would "queer" play in large markets? Not well, according to the religious states out there. So Disney juggles a rainbow-colored ball with black and brown stripes and passes it off (yet again) as just another colorful ball-nothing to see here. The trouble for us, is that it never lands. It's part of the show, but isn't important. Canonicaly, Carol is into War Machine (Don Cheadle's character from the Iron Man branch). Unfortunately (or fortunately), the age gap between the actors in the MCU is a pretty good stretch, so that likely won't happen either. Do yourself a favor, Ms. Dar, and watch it at least once. It's an empowering movie where we finally get a superwoman who, like Clark Kent, was forced to hold back her powers. Unlike Clark, though, Carol realizes the source of her power was right there the whole time, so with no man slapping her hand away from her own greatness, she lets loose and everything soars from there. I apologize for geeking out. It's like telling someone about soaps: Unless you watch them, you will have trouble catching up until you do. Also, I am a huge flag-waving Arcane fan. I direct people to it all the time as the GOAT.

I love the way she smiles at the man on the bus as we know of THE GREAT MAN STAN" LOVE LOVE IT!!! ❤️ That is what I thought the whole time.. I knew there was something between those two and that iconic hug seal the deal. ❤❤❤❤

I don't think Neve Campbell said no because of money, she's didn't want to do it anymore (since scream 3 actually) and the last movie is a pretty good final for her character, they let Sydney go alive and happy and they find someone to "take care" of ghostface... for me it's really cool because I love Sydney so much and I think that Neve Campbell made sure that her character had a great ending. The Last Of Us (originally a PS videogame) is showing on HBO. There is not much WLW but the young lead character Ellie is a lesbian. The series will touch on a bit about her relationship with her friend Riley. Its a great series so far, although I may be biased bec I played the game.
Orphan Black: Echoes is more of a sequel. Keeley Hawes will be playing Kira Manning, who is a child in the original series and the daughter of Tatiana Maslany's Sarah Manning. They're intentionally keeping her character's name a secret for now, but there was a leak on IMDb a while back, which has been removed after fans noticed, that seems to confirm it. In the audio continuation, Orphan Black: The Next Chapter, which takes place 8 years after the end of the show, it's also revealed that Kira is into women, so we could potentially see her in a sapphic relationship in Echoes, since The Next Chapter is canon.
Evleyn Hugo is one of the best books ive ever read. I didnt know it was going to be a movie. Finally!!!! I agree with you on the casting. Also I think Carol Danvers would be gay if she wasnt on Marvel. Im not an expert on superhero but ive watch most of the movies once and they are not very open for what ive seen. I say these two because Celia St. James is described as having big blue eyes, a round face, and a youthful glow (or something along those lines). If Emma Myers? Then, definitely Jessica Chastain as older Celia! It doesn't seem like it would be too jarring to have her as an older counterpart to Emma's Celia. There's enough similarities in appearance, and Jessica Chastain is a wonderful actress! But in the case of Kathryn Newton? I don't know who. As for who would act as Evelyn Hugo? I have no idea. I thought Eiza Gonzalez because she fits Evelyn to a T, but she would look very odd next to Emma, but I guess she might work alright with Kathryn?

The Last Of Us (originally a PS videogame) is showing on HBO. There is not much WLW but the young lead character Ellie is a lesbian. The series will touch on a bit about her relationship with her friend Riley. Its a great series so far, although I may be biased bec I played the game.

Orphan Black: Echoes is more of a sequel. Keeley Hawes will be playing Kira Manning, who is a child in the original series and the daughter of Tatiana Maslany's Sarah Manning. They're intentionally keeping her character's name a secret for now, but there was a leak on IMDb a while back, which has been removed after fans noticed, that seems to confirm it.
In the audio continuation, Orphan Black: The Next Chapter, which takes place 8 years after the end of the show, it's also revealed that Kira is into women, so we could potentially see her in a sapphic relationship in Echoes, since The Next Chapter is canon.

Evleyn Hugo is one of the best books ive ever read. I didnt know it was going to be a movie. Finally!!!! I agree with you on the casting. Also I think Carol Danvers would be gay if she wasnt on Marvel. Im not an expert on superhero but ive watch most of the movies once and they are not very open for what ive seen. Did love the Black Widow movie though I totally recomend

Emma Myers or Kathryn Newton for young Celia St. James! I say these two because Celia St. James is described as having big blue eyes, a round face, and a youthful glow (or something along those lines). If Emma Myers? Then, definitely Jessica Chastain as older Celia! It doesn't seem like it would be too jarring to have her as an older counterpart to Emma's Celia. There's enough similarities in appearance, and Jessica Chastain is a wonderful actress! But in the case of Kathryn Newton? I don't know who. As for who would act as Evelyn Hugo? I have no idea. I thought Eiza Gonzalez because she fits Evelyn to a T, but she would look very odd next to Emma, but I guess she might work alright with Kathryn?
