    I always enjoy watching your videos. The content is very accurate and I learn a lot.♥
    I am very interested in Etsy. I especially thought POD was a dream come true.
    So my question is, I am a Japanese living in Japan, is it possible to do the US as a sales area?
    Is it correct to interpret that the printing and shipping (mugs and T-shirts) will be done by an American vendor...not from Japan?
    I know this is basic, but I would appreciate it if you could tell me!
    Sorry if the context is strange as it is a translation tool.

    Can I ask you a question about printify. I’m designing in Illustrator. Should I design in rgb or cmyk? I know it’ll print cmyk regardless but should I upload it as a rgb or cmyk onto printify? Does it matter? I mean either way it’ll come out as cmyk. So what’s better? Does it even matter because it’ll print cmyk regardless if I design in rgb or cmyk?

    I thought it was against etsy's policy to collect customers' emails for use outside of etsy, did that change?

    I struggle with how to set my original price so that I can run sales. Do you use a specific profit margin that will allow for the discount? I work so hard to streamline designs, mocks, listings- then it’s time to set my price and I freak. I want a set profit margin for all my products that will allow for x% off when I run a sale. What’s the sweet spot??? 😂

    Do you recommend daily 24 hour sales? Or take a few days off

    • @itsheatherstudio

      Great question and happy you asked this! I do not recommend perpetual or continuous daily sales - this is not allowed in certain countries and states. I do apologize as I should have also stated that in this video but every other day or rotating deals are good to do instead of running constant sales. Hoping this helps and thanks for watching! ❤

    Do you think it’s a bad idea to offer a discount to people who have favorited a listing or put it in their cart and still have flash sales? I’m questioning that and also wondering if I should discontinue the free shipping guarantee for $35 and over.

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  15 днів тому

      That’s why I recommend making your coupons (favorite, abandoned cart, thank you) 5% higher in the case they left Etsy and they saw it’s higher than the sale. This is what has worked for my shop to convert more people who may have that instance happen and hoping this helps!

    Hi thank you for this video. I just starting my business and i have 35 listing so far and I haven't got any sales and I get a few views per day like maybe 5 views is that normal ? How many listing do I need to see some traffic?

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  15 днів тому +3

      Lower views when you start is fairly normal if you aren’t using social media or ads at under 50 listings. The listing quantity technically isn’t a large factor(because there are shops that list and list without sales unfortunately) but I have found that typically 10 to 20% of my listings sell in my shop and get organic sales so it does take experience + time to see the compounding improvements to get sales.
      All this to say, in my experience in my own shops and working with others, it’s been over a few hundred listings is when people really start to see sales/consistent views and scaling due to just getting better at listing, designing and crafting listings that will sell on repeat.
      Hoping this helps to know that it takes time! Everyone’s journey is so different and I wouldn’t let the number discourage you either. Some sellers it takes a thousand listings, others it’s been a hundred or less - everyone’s journey is going to look different since we’re all skilled at certain designs, niches and product types. I’ve found some sellers who are so good at writing phrases and others who are great at graphic designs, no phrases. It’s all learning your skill and exploring at this stage so keep going! Hoping this helps a bit and best of wishes to your shop!

    Hi my name is Yotam I am 13 years old and I have recently been researching how to make money, I am now trying to start a Pod shop it is quite difficult because all the videos I found are not really up to date or do not show step by step, I know I have to be over 18 to create a Pod shop But I am trying to create a store on my parents name. I was wondering if you could make a video explaining how to create a print on demand store or in general a way for a child my age to make money (and not as a babysitter). I hope you will take me seriously despite my age, thanks. By the way, do you have a Discord group?

      You are not allowed to register anbEtsy shop on the other name. You should pay a fee to open your shop and provide all bank and ID informations, upload the scan of ID, VAT numbers. Are you sure your parents want to make this for you and calculate VAT including Etsy finances every year? This shop will not belong to you, if something happens to your parents you will be blocked by changing any names in your bank account information. Because Etsy do not allow to change the owner of the shop. Once added your mom, it will be your mom's shop forever.
      POD shop should use own photos, no mock ups are allowed anymore. Are you ready to buy all the stuff you plan to sell in order to make own pictures?
