@@healthyking5161 Yeah I really don't know what's going to happen, it's going to be really interesting for sure. To be honest I'm not sure the gym he goes to in Liverpool is good for him, he seemed a lot better when he was in Brazil.
Although to give him props, he doesn't get enough credit for that Wonderboy fight due to the scorecard bias, not many people can fight like that with Wonderboy, he did a really good job. But I still don't know how good Darren Till is, hopefully we see on Saturday night, I'm sure whittaker is itching to get back in form.

I love his attitude, he says "I want to become a great mixed martial artist." I feel like this mentality is so good for growth. Even Till, who is in the top fighters in the world at middleweight, has the 'student' mindset, looking for ways to improve
I'm a Brit, and even I recognise that Darren Till's skills outside of striking are quite primitive in comparison to Whittaker's total game. Don't forget who Bobby Knuckles is.

Whittaker is a great all round fighter but he has real issues with true strikers as we have seen with Adesanya and Thompson, Till definitely had a good chance

Till in great shape, present, focused, snap and pop in his punches, he's a force on fight night. Respect to him for wanting to be the best, putting in the hours, a true professional.
Till needs to balance his level of confidence. Rob is still young and very well rounded. Lessons must be learned, Till's chin is still way up in the air. No head movement, no side to Side positional direction. Very straightup. Whittaker in the third, over hand right. Till suspect against fighters who bounce on their toes, with angled shots.
I just wanna say Whitaker's overhands in the Adesanya fight were really bad, although I think Till is less tall, so maybe they can land. I also agree Whitakers angled left hook might be a nice shot for him here given Till is very linear, might be really good to sneak across Till's southpaw jab

Lost to Tyron woodley who was the welterweight champion and also on a six fight unbeaten streak, then lost to Jorge Masvidal who has just fought Usman for the welterweight title, all losses also at welterweight where Darren literally went blind during one of his weight cuts, definitely think this is his weight class, Whittaker and the whole ufc fan base is in for a shock when Darren knocks him clean out

@@legalise.nuclearbombs with me there are a few things. costa is huge now, and with the whole corona thing, will his weight cut to 185 be productive . Also costa arguably lost to Romero, I dont believe Romero is the only one who can match him. I would not be surprised if someone like a confident hydrated Till or a Whittaker can also deal with it. I like Adesanya but if i play the fight in my head, I see Costa landing something and him just steam rolling him on the ground BUT somewhere I can even see Adesanya using perfect countering to frustrate a costa. If we know Costa can knock him out, than he knows also and he won't take stupid risks.

I live in Melbourne AU so I usually back Whittaker but the majority of my family are English so I also tend to go for fighters from there. Gonna have to watch this one as a neutral. I don't want either guy to lose but damn this fight should be fireworks.

Darren is looking VERY good. I was worried for the Gastelum fight because it seemed his head wasn’t quite right yet. This seems like the old unstoppable confidence but he’s learned that 99.9% isn’t good enough. I’m thinking that Whittaker is going out again.
