Wow!! Does this FJ go fast? Or was it modified to go fast?😮
Good question. The particular truck is actually geared low for massive amounts of climbing torque, and therefore has a weak top speed, capping out at just over walking pace, which is super slow compared to the rigs I generally hang out with. Some of my friends' trucks are five times faster. My truck just looks fast sometimes when I film it down at ground level. But I've also gotten to be a good driver over the years at maintaining a steady pace over rough ground, combined with a finely tuned suspension that soaks up the bumps without bouncing out of control, so that contributes as well. Cheers...
@@NaturallyRC oh ok. I wonder if it can be made to go a bit faster.
@@arni7810 Absolutley. Just change the pinion gear on the motor shaft from an 11 tooth to a 22 tooth. It will literally go twice as fast and only run you about seven bucks. Cheers...
@@NaturallyRC oh nice thanks!
Nice FJ. Nice smooth scale driving. Love that water run👍🏾
Thanks, RadGow. I tried my best to keep it scale and slow, but not so slow as to be boring. We have no choice but to run in water a lot here, and it's nice when the water level is just right. Cheers...
Nice muddy trails
Yup, just the right amount. Not too deep, very scale. Also the plants are a good height. In a month the weeds will be waist-high, so this is literally the best time of year to film. Cheers and thanks.
Nice video and cool car !!!
🤠👍👍
Thanks! I'm surprised to see this one is pulling good views compared to my regular videos. I appreciate the comment.
Awesome video great trail nice RIG. 👍 🌲🌲🇨🇦
Thanks. Gotta say, I fussed over this film in the editing suite, and it's one of my favourites. Cheers!
That was awesome. What a great ride. Perfect video to have on while cleaning up the shop. Awesome footage brother. Enjoyed it my friend. and Thanks
Thanks so much, Nickster. Always good to hear from you. Your comments keep me doing what I do. 👍👍👍👍
Great video!
Thanks so much! See you on the trails real soon.
Another awesome video! I have been tuning in since the barrage days!!
Yup, I know you have and I appreciate it. Thanks, and there ought to be a new Barrage film coming soon, now that she's all fixed up again, and fitted with an Axial SCX10ii transmission and 540 motor.
Nice car 👍
Thanks, extremeadventu ! 👍
I love this video. Good thing I looked up the rig specs in the description and it was exactly what I was looking for - a running vid of an SCX10-3 Base Camp Builders Kit. Still choosing a body to put on this, though.
Thanks, cjv29er. As mentioned in one of my Comanche videos, this is the first of two I have bought within the last 12 months. That's how impressed I am and how much I like the Base Camp kit. Just a heads up that you have to shave away some plastic from the servo tray to get your average servo to fit, for some weird reason. And the instructions suuuuuck. Other than that. One of the best crawler options around. Cheers.
Great footage, I know it’s hard, but just need you chatting up the fellers on the trail.
Thanks for the comment! The only fellas on the trail besides me this day were ducks and squirrels and song birds. And I did see two magnificent whitetail deer. I don't talk much on the trail, but I DO like to capture all my friends chatting back and forth, when we crawl as a group. Some of the boys could make a career out of it. Cheers!
awesome...
Thanks, rcgasm 😊. I appreciate the feedback. Cheers.
@@NaturallyRCduration, its to long for me 😊
