I wish i started listening to Dave years ago.
Husband and I, 57, 50 Debt Free and paid off home in 2022! We’re debt Free!
Congratulations! I can't wait to do my personal debt free scream
I love the first caller. She was so sweet and fiesty.
I've been waiting for her all month.(the first caller) I'm so happy it worked out for her.
A year late, but I have to give this comment. The girl with the younger brother is awesome. While all 27 year olds are making babies this girl is taking care of the whole family. Awesome girl God bless her and make her deca millionaire if not more.
Dave, the girl raising her younger brother and sister with kids… my heart. Great advise you have. You care tons for people! I always listen to you…
Prayed for them all right on the spot ❤ Xx
4:57 this first lady needs her own show! 😆
❤love the steps, where to start is always the most paralyzing part & his tweaks of a starter emergency fund vs fully funded right away and smallest debt first vs highest interest rate
Make that first call a Ramsey clip.
Sorry - but credit is the best thing for me. I accounted for every pennies I spent and I get cash back. ❤
And George will tell you… do you know how much 2% is on a $1000? Do the math, not worth it.
Zach from MI, not sure why you're asking anyone from Ramsey about crypto. They don't understand it and don't like it. You need to get info elsewhere. As for me, I've made good money from flipping BTC. It's a part of my portfolio.
There is a big flaw with your theory. People who pay with cash will often go without what they need when they rum our of cash. People who use credit cards get what they need when they need it without worrying if they have enough money in their pockets. If they run into an emergency and have to use a debit card they could go into overdraft and end up paying overdraft charges to the bank. If they have a credit card they can pay for everything and pay the bill in full at the end of the month.
If you are running your debit card to zero, or past zero, you are doing it wrong.
It is not a matter of doing it right or wrong. If you are forced to use your debit card you just might have to go into overdraft if you have to pay for something that cannot wait. If you use a credit card though, you pay now and pay the bill at the end of the month.
@@chriskatranis3755 You are clearly doing it wrong. With my debit card, 1000 is considered zero for me. So if something that isn't planned comes up, I don't go into overdraft. That and I also have an emergency fund on top of that.
Its funny I use credit card to force me to save money, I put a certain limit each month and I never spend more then that unless its very nessecary which prevent me to spend more of my checking account. Its like forced monthly budget
Yeah Goeorgw 🤠👍
11:59 Bridgett, you are so inspiring. As Dave rightly noted, you are your brother's hero. I wish you and all your siblings the very best -- Stay strong and keep thriving!
My wife and I were in the audience watching this episode being filmed. It was our first time visiting the studio. It was a lot of fun.
Oh id love to go, id say my level of inspiration would go way up but if I travel to Nashville from Ireland Dave would not approve 😂🤑🤑
Oh good!!!
Ramsey has changed so many lives. He may never know his true impact ❤
That's a real woman. Taking care of her little brother and saving money. Good for her!
Let's set up the month without Credit Cards Bar with George Kamel. A Bar Seating Area in the lobby dedicated to discussing life without Credit Cards.
This episode shows how great of a mentor Dave is to George... and all of us. God Bless.
God bless Bridget! what a hero!
George!😃
They're actually so right about this. I will have my debit card and cash in my pocket and I feel less pressure when I'm using my debit card. I don't want to spend that cash that's in my pocket but if it's got to go on the debit I don't feel as bad. Thanks for sharing this video guys. I hope you guys have a great day!
Using a credit card is much easier than setting an arbitrary $1000 mark as zero. As long as you pay your bill off every month you are fine. You can pay everything with the credit card. That will amalgamate all your bills into one bill that you pay off once a month. It is so easy. You are making things more complicated for nothing. Plus, you can take advantage of points and and money back rewards. You Dave money. I put everything I can on my credit cards and pay them off every month. I have put away a fortune that way. I am a multi millionaire and I did it using credit cards
I remember Mr. Ramsey in the 90’s and I’m kicking myself now for not actually “listening” then.🤨
Bill in Green Bay needs to also be okay if the child flames out of college and drops out. It could happen. I've known many kids with potential and good heads on their shoulders who couldn't handle college/making good choices on their own.
Bridgette is amazing!!!
I don't get it...Sheila from Seattle, wanting to find a house near her church. Really? Go find a cheaper area and go to the church there !
Melanie...$45k for a used Traverse ? OMG !!
If only I had a friend that would buy real estate from me from higher than I bought it for no reason 😂
Onlyfans?
Dave thought he was being punkd lol
That’s going to be me with the 88 Chevy. Mines a 98 Chevy. I’m 24. That will be me in 15 years when im still driving the same truck 😂
Bro! My youngest son and my truck are both 18. Truck runs great, she’s still a beast. 😂
Hell yeah bro!
The First Lady was crazy
You mean is crazy. Jill is a *()’.
Dave is in complete denial on house prices. The truth is 80% of people right now cannot become home owners. ESPECIALLY by his criteria. 100k down on a 400k house is 50% of take home for someone making ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS. And don’t tell me to move. There aren’t unlimited jobs everywhere. Cheap places to live are cheap for a reason.
Im literally clapping... But notice how no one even liked your comment! You are so right thats real talk, the blind devotees dont wanna hear it
Most people buy a home on 2 incomes. And that lady did have the 100k. By the way the 20% is the ideal. The main metric is that the payment is no more than 25% of take home pay. There’s a reason for that, you can’t build wealth if you’re house poor.
80 percent of people should not buy a house because they can't afford it. Duh.
@@sarahmilner8483u should start working and less clapping
Truly, it does hurt to spend cash. I get physically ill.
Caller: I just accepted my first job out of college
Dave and George: GREAT❗️How much❓❗️
Caller: $38,000 at a private Christian school
Dave and George: 🦗🦗 🦗 🦗
Dave is always so humble on air I'd love to hear more about his worth, businesses, and investments. Stuff like spending $15m in 2008, what an incredible investment. What is Dave's lifestyle like.
Humble!? Dave?! Do you know the meaning of that word? That made me laugh🤣🤣this level Of blind weird devorion to Dave makes me understand how scientology came about. Youd swear he reinvented the wheel guys its really common sense but it does show a lot about American intellect.
@@sarahmilner8483i laughed at humble wow people are blind to his arrogance
1hr 35min in. I'm a full follower of dave. But I do this for living. Compare the funds. 457 have no penalty (if done correctly, no Rollins etc). This could be bridge account. Also think about match from employer.
I love the first woman, and what a good idea to time yourself in the grocery store.
Dave wants to see decades of a track record on crypto even though when that happens he'll be dead😂
1:36:10 When I spoke with a financial advisor, I was told to get Target Date Fund 2065/2070 for retirement. Could someone please explain why Dave would not do that?
As you get older, target funds get more conservative.
Dave Ramsey isn't an economist and yet he babbles as if he is one😂
The first caller is everything 💕
She’ll be back to using credit cards again the next day 😂
The first call😂
37:27 “BUT I GET A MATCH” - so funny 🤣
What’s under the table money?
Money paid for a job that can't be tracked, usually cash.
Yes, cash that you don't need to pay taxes on!
George Karmel please stop parroting everything DR says
What do you expect him to do? Make up his own stuff?🙄
DR is parroting George at this point.
lady should give George a good lecture on that beard
