That's a great way to set things up. All the inner workings are concealed. I know those two missing screws are driving you bananas! But hey!, anybody in this industry has a few screws loose or missing anyway 😁
Yeah but I have a secondary way of setting up the straps that may work as well. Now that I have the buffer tank on the trailer I can figure it out. Thanks for the mention 😁👍
You demonstrated such professionalism by using the heat gun. With our rivers and lakes running dry, so glad to see your environmentally conscious by not wasting a couple cups of hot water. Those plastic repair welder kits the other guy mentioned are good to have on hand. They don’t cost that much. are good to have around. Look into a Heli Coil repair kit. They have them in all different thread sizes and they’re around 10 bucks.
Great job Mike. The plastic screw stud you broke off if you have or know someone who has a plastic weld kit you can the just plastic weld it back in place.
Another good one Mike! Your presentation, video preparedness, editing, etc all all top notch. I like the clean look of the valves but the difficult access gives me pause. Another good one Mike!
Thank you brother. I hear you on the pause. However, I must say, I have never once, in two seasons, had to repair the metering system. Just replace one valve.
You may be able to heat the seat up with your heat gun and push it back in. (part that came apart) They are pressed in and sometimes heat is required, if real loose heat up a piece of zip tie around the fitting.
Rig is looking great. Question on the hoses going to the metering valves: do they need to be the same length to pull accurately? I’ve heard that in the past and wondered if you did that.
For next year bud, try to hunt down U-bolts to mount metering system, if this system does not turn out the way you like. I used U-bolts for 5 years with no issue, then I stepped up to the midwest wash supply system and I just bolted the entire unit in the old spot. Rig is looking great! I also found a Ferrule Crimper set up on Gemplars for my hose end fittings that you may like and also the Bandit Tool off amazon, they both work great, no more hose clamps, Then I got a nut zert system to allow me to mount nut zerts on my rig that allow me to bolt straight to the rig, or any piece of metal, no more having bolts going through with nut on the back, nut is pressed into the metal alot like a rivet. Has changed the way I do things and looks really clean. And one more thing, are both lines for water and SH the exact same length? Hard to tell in video, they are supposed to be so you are getting the exact same draw on both lines, soap line is no big deal. Keep up the great work!
Will you be adding a 3 way valve to the sh line to flush out the pump? Or do you just shut the sh and soap valves off to run water through the pump to flush it out after a job?
The latter. Adding a 3 way is not out of the question… but I haven’t done it holistically. I just shut off the soap and SH and empty out the SH at the curb.
People who aren’t in the business wouldn’t understand how absolutely beautiful this setup is. Awesome video and setup mike!
Ah man, that means a ton. Thank you!
Man, I love how you keep everything so tidy.
Thank you brother
Looking great! I am learning a lot watching these vids, thanks!
Thank you brother!!!

Thank you. Yeah, it’s killing me. I’ll figure something out.
Awesome layout, very clean job Mike, looking good, can't wait to see it back out making money again. Get after it.
I appreciate that. Can’t wait!

It’s true, the only reason I use heat is to save the planet. I’ll look into the Heli Coil kit
Awesome job 👏
Thank you!
OUTSTANDING 😎
Thank you Dale
Soooooo clean!
Thank you Mike!
Can’t wait to see where you are gonna mount the $99 sign. Love it Mike. You do great videos and fabrications.
Thank you brother!!!!
Just a reminder your hoses that pull on your manifold should be the same length to have accuracy.
Thank you good man

I gotta camlock my hose barbs, I HATE having to pull them off.
Yes. That can be a pain.
Such a clean set up! That control panel is very nice 👍
Thanks my Tony!
@@TheFreshRinse yes sir!
You should reverse the line connections on your 12v. They should run the same way your pressure hose runs (feed always flows out the nipple)
I’ll take that advice. Thank you.

It’s worth a try
What do you have an aluminum brake out back for bending? Looked professionally bent but hey you are the fresh rinse 😋. Nice work
Thank you Marty. My other side hustle is a bracket I invented several years ago that supports bicycles on a wall. Sell them across the world.
Rig is looking great. Question on the hoses going to the metering valves: do they need to be the same length to pull accurately? I’ve heard that in the past and wondered if you did that.
I’ve hear the same… and that makes sense. But in reality, what’s the difference between 5% and 6%? Please don’t say 1%. LOL
Another great video. Why do you have both a gas pump and a 12V system? Are there situations where you prefer one over the other?
Redundancy. It’s much safer to have a backup.

mike, are those ratchet straps secured to something that goes through the floor?
Yes. Large eye bolts… all the way through with nuts/washers

Hey brother. Just not as good of flow.
