- It's been so refreshing being able to get my hands on the Cataclysm fire mage playstyle again. What a blessing to be able to re-experience this. In my opinion, Cata Fire Mage is tied with MoP for being the coolest iteration of the spec of all time. Every other style of Fire has not even come close to this level of creativity and uniqueness in design. Spreading combustions and doing exponential damage is so unique and fun to execute If you're a fan of fire magus, this iconic gameplay is something you don't want to miss.
Keep in mind these games are all highlights from just week 1 of Season 9. It's actually insanely inconsistent and challenging to setup perfect combustion spreads like you see here, especially due to secondary stat weights being so low in honor gear early expansion and even shatters not giving consistent procs like it should.. but oh boy, when the stars align it's maximum dopamine injection. Enjoy these games vs week 1 top of the ladder teams (mostly all multi rank 1 retail + classic players).

@Hanslol im 100% sure that firemage is buggd same as Feral Bleeds sinde Season 5 WLTK it caunt as you have 0 resilience on you same goes with Warrior Deep Wounds i playd on many Privat Servers Cata Real Cata R1 and it was never like this from 2000 Mages was 2 Fire and now evry singel one. Not cast 1 sheep and dmg like hell Blizzard fuckd something up with the Core abilitys from some Classes that Resilience dont count at all. Ore you think Firemage was realy this powerful back in Cata i doubt.

@@hansolzy mate you was always my fanboy when i was young i have lot of respect for you dont understand me wrong:) but i was self playing cata r1 and many players know since wltk how blizzard fuckd up with all the scripts buggs. That some Abilitys dont count resilience is a fact since Wrath.

Haha that was my first 2200 as double mage. I peaked at like 2270 in OG Cata only. Wasn't till mop that I got 2.4>2.7>3k and glad/r1. That's why I'm so excited for Cata tho cuz it was my first pvp xpac and I'll be 5x better this time around than I was in OG cata :D

I think partially playing as a rogue I always leaned towards frost partners and playing against fire mages was "easy."

Haha some of those most hyped moments were during the first day of Cata arena so I was a lot more excited for sure. Also sometimes it's a bit easier to be relaxed when playing with such seasoned players too.

I didn't start playing wow until MOP, really wanna try Cata arena but just don't have the time to level and gear like i used to :(. Look like a lot of fun though!

If you buy the xpac package u get a boost included or it's $40-60.
Gearing is wayyy easier than it was back in the day bro. You can actually get multiple alts full gear now. There's no rating gap either.
You can get full honor gear in a day or 2 of wg and bgs.
As of today conquest cap goes up to 12,000 (up 4,000 a week) which allows a catchup mechanic on alts. If u start playing today you can get an 85 with about 2-4 hours per lvl dungeon spamming (80-85) and you can have as much vicious conquest gear as everyone else whose been playing from day 1

Impact stun your target to spread all dots to nearby targets. Impact is a 10% to proc.

hunter is kinda hard to play against imo. for sure it requires a minimum amount of classknowledge in general, but my experience so far was to either pillarhug protecting ur heal or even focus the hunter to force him into deturrance and play it like a pala and kill in second go. -> all this while trying to pressure through enemy healer hoping for a good setup of cc chaining
