Thank you! There was many new aspects about this historic battle. Unfortunately, we as Iranians have no written evidence of such events and we do not know exactly how our decline and rise happened.

Btw there appears to be two versions of the hardback book - with different titles and covers; I presume one is the British English language version and the other the American English version, which is which?
The Eagle and the Lion is the UK edition released by Head of Zeus on 6th July. The US edition is called Rome and Persia and will be released by Basic Books in September. The text is identical and the US edition will have British spellings. They have different covers and some other minor details, but otherwise are the same book
Safe to say, if Crassus simply stayed in formation, perhaps harrased the parthians in some night attack, moral of the Parthians must have sinked as they would eventually ran out of arrows. The end result could have been very different ?
