    Intro:
A company in Germany is paving the way for a new chapter in aviation, where sustainability meets innovation and practicality.
This is the Lilium Jet, a pioneering electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. This isn't just a big leap in aviation technology, but it is also a major stride towards sustainable aeronautics. The Lilium Jet stands out with its unique design and capabilities. Unlike traditional aircraft, it features fixed wings, embedded distributed propulsion, and the absence of a tail, making it highly efficient in cruise flight. We're talking about an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. It means it's fully battery powered and it has zero operating emission. The difference of our aircraft, if you compare with all the technology is that we have a ducted fan which is mounted on the flaps of the main wing and a canal. So we do have a wing, we do have a canal, it looks like a jet. The only difference is we can actually get those flaps to move from a vertical to a horizontal position, going from a vertical takeoff into a regular flight. This design not only enhances aerodynamic efficiency but also contributes to a significant reduction in noise pollution.
    Features:
One of the most striking features of the Lilium Jet is its payload capacity. With ducted engines, it offers a high payload while maintaining a low footprint. So our aircraft is fully battery powered, so it's 100% electric, it has zero operating emission and you should take the manufacturing of our aircraft into consideration along with the recycling of the batteries, it's roughly 20 g per kilometer of travel. It's absolutely the lowest emission possible. It's very equivalent to a high speed electric train. This makes it versatile for various applications, from passenger transport to logistics, without the need for extensive infrastructure like runways.
    Advantages:
Lilium Jet stands out among other aircrafts due to the Electric Vectored Thrust technology. This proprietary system integrates electric jet engines into the wing flaps, providing numerous advantages. These include improved payload capacity, enhanced aerodynamic efficiency, a lower noise profile, and thrust vector control for maneuverability in all flight phases.
    Safety:
Safety is paramount in aviation, and Lilium is not taking any shortcuts. The company is one of the few pioneers of its kind seeking dual certification with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration. This rigorous process ensures that the Lilium Jet meets the highest safety standards. So we have because we are an aircraft and because we are based in Europe, we follow EASA the European regulation for safety and we're going to be certifying the aircraft to the highest safety standard in the industry which is 10 to the -9. That means that you have one chance out of a billion flights, you have a problem. That's the highest safety standard which applies to an Airbus or Boeing aircraft. The Lilium Jet is designed for versatility. It can be configured in various ways to suit different needs. The most spacious arrangement is for private flights, offering luxurious club seating. Alternatively, the cabin can be configured with six seats for passenger flights or without seats for the zero-emissions logistics market.
    Vision:
Lilium’s vision extends beyond just creating an innovative aircraft. The company aims to revolutionize regional mobility by making it sustainable, accessible, and high-speed. With the Lilium Jet, they are accelerating the decarbonization of air travel, offering a solution that combines efficiency, low noise, and zero operating emissions.
    Conclusion:
If you think about what we're doing today, why we're introducing a first aircraft, which by the way, we have the highest capacity of all eVTOLs we can have up to six people, right? And the beauty of the technology is we know batteries are getting better and better and better. Several companies have already mentioned that, you know, the density could go up to at least 500 watt hour per per kilogram. Ours is about 300. So if you almost double that battery density, you will have more range and more performance out of the aircraft, which is absolutely key because that aircraft will get better and better or better over time. The Lilium Jet is a symbol of a future where air travel aligns with environmental sustainability. With its innovative design, cutting-edge technology, and commitment to safety and versatility, the Lilium Jet is poised to redefine the skies.

Just thinking about the noise. Hopefully it’s less than a helicopter.
