Hello there again. I purchased this box and I figured I should get vpn for it. I got surfshark and hooked it up to superbox and another tv with firestick. The surfshark works great on firestick which is wireless. The super box is on ethernet which I get 350 download. The problem is when I try to connect to superbox my internet goes offline on the superbox. Any idea what's going on.

I just received this box but I have a few questions. I went through the apps and found I was getting a lot of buffering. I forced stopped all apps and cleaned it up. I am hardwired in with 350 mb per second. I even tried changing dns to Google but no difference. Any suggestions or some setting I'm missing? Any thing would help . Thx
Run speed test on the box
Change DNS to your own IPS then speed test.

@xctechs I ran a speed test on box it was 360mbps. I failed to mention I'm not running vpn. I'm not sure how to change dns

@@xctechs This is surprising, this was big news late last year. I can't seem to send links but if you do a search for "Chinese tv boxes malware", there's a tomshardware article on it. I'll see if I can link it in another message.
@@xctechs Ok my comments keep vanishing. Google "Chinese tv boxes malware". The first 3 links are Tomshardware and Wired, check those, it was BIG news back in October, everyone was reporting on it. Surprised you haven't heard.
@@xctechs My messages, 5 of them I tried, keep getting deleted.
Mine arrived on friday. So far, I've only been able to watch 1 movie a day. Live channels load and work fine. I chatted in with no help, just factory reset the box again. I'll click on a movie, and then the movie won't load and kick me back to the movie screen. Ran a speedtest in the box. I was getting 150 megs wired, so speed isn't a issue
Try changing dns to google
@xctechs I tried, but maybe I did it the wrong way. I've changed the dns in my tv settings before but the box has a different interface. Some days the movies play but most days I just turn it off. I talked with support and they say I have enough bandwidth
@@ButterMan4713 but you have these android boxes?? i am not talking about actuall tv settings. box has a settings to make things easier get an VPN and try to connect.
