I demo'd this racquet (MP-L) and the MP a few weeks ago and I found it to be a fairly significant upgrade from the previous generation. As a 5.0 player, I think this is a great platform racquet that allows a wide range of customization possibilities. With the initial light weight, 100sq/in hoop, and thin beam (Same as MP) you can add weight to the handle using Tac and Lead Tape to the hoop to get you to your exact specs.
I still prefer the Head Gravity line by a slight margin due to the head shape and related impact to the sweet spot effect, but this generation feels and plays more like the Gravity than the prior generation. There seems to be very minor differences more than ever between the Head models. The MP-L and MP's of the Gravity, Prestige, Speed and Radical are very similar to one another.
Also somewhat related, the trend of recommending heavier swing weights makes no sense. The majority of Men and Women's Tour pros use swing weight between 320 and 335 and most of the Head MP lines are in the 315-320 swing weight range and the Pro models around 330. From what I see, most recreational players from juniors and adults are playing with swing weights that they cannot wield. Starting with a lighter weight racquet is the way to go for 90+% of players to keep them in the 300-315 swing weight range.

The gravity’s beam width is narrower than Speed line, isn’t it?

Thanks bro ur comment really helped me alot … im waiting for a gravity mpl 2023 to arrive home and i will try it out with luxilon alu power rough 46lbs . It might be interesting .I like the lighter racquets because it allows me to hit some crazy powerful swing shots like krygios . But if i actually dont like the gravity 2023 i will try out the new speed mpl 2024

@@ezreev6343 Glad it helped. It sounds like you take big cuts at the ball with full swings, and if that's the case the mid to lighter racquets are the way to go. People with more compact swings with less acceleration often prefer heavier racquets. It's more style based than it is subjective.

It's good that you also included the Head MP L !. However, not all tennis players are 14 to 39 years old, playing 2-3 times a week! The review is that it is a slightly lighter racket and plays longer with ease, with no serious disadvantages. Manufacturers largely ignore this segment and there isn't a huge selection of 275-290 gram racquets for women, leaner men, non-tournament-going adults, and others. From the bloggers too!

I bought 2 of those just because i wanted lighter frame to experiment with. And this one have plenty of room for it.After few easy tweeks from not so good the stick became great. For start just replace butt cap to a normal one (the butt caps on those are weighted) automatically frame will became even lighter and more head heavy which is a must for a lighter frame.Just that is improving that racket dramatically in a good way.One other thing is, light frames dont like high tension, string them to max 23kg to benefit from those.Good channel keep going guys and you should give this racket a second chance.😉

I play with a UTR 7.0 player in my club that uses the previous model (2022 Speed MP-L Auxetic) and he strikes the ball with enormous swing speed. I also had the 2022 Speed - but in the MP version and noticed that it was average if you struck the ball at low swing speeds. So by the sounds of it the 2024 Speed range is trying to get more mass based power into the frames by putting more weight in the hoop - thus slowing the frames down. This seems to take away from the whippy nature of the line that not many reviewers seem to like ?

If you mean beam thickness, yes. The Gravity line is among the thinner constant beam frames on the current market. The Speed line is also constant beam but significantly thicker. They are still not particularly stiff, though.

@@bournejason66 Don't know. I have a pair of older Graphene Radical Pro's and don't really intend to change for either a Speed or a Gravity. I might like them and be tempted to spend money I shouldn't. 😅

Demo’d this racket. Gave up after 5 minutes. You need to have your own power. I couldn’t get the ball over the net. I have a old light Yonex and it definitely has more power than this. I tried it two different days and same thing…nothing.
