I received severe beatings from Dad even when I was an adult it affected me that I couldn't express myself when I was in need It hardened me more but it definitely affects me the way I feel and react to certain things but for sure I've never touched anyone in my life ati ni fight or anything of the sought At times I want to talk with my dad about it but I can't bring myself to doing it
5:15 happened to me in real life as well. I was given 5 bob, went and called my younger aunt coz I was told when she comes, I was to get 10/-. When she came I gave back the 5 bob and the guy kicked me said same words...nitoe ujinga hapo
19:58-20:04That part when kingori describes walikuwa wanachapwa na bladder then joey says ouch, halafu kingori akamsho sio ouch😂😂. Halafu btw people have really really different childhood experiences.
HD was my school mate in Macha Boyz he used to come with 30 uniforms for the entire month.Visiting day zingine zinakam zinaenda. The Nigga never used to wash clothes.
Wonderful chat shiow. Am so impressed and moved by their wonderful upbringing, fluent kikamba while living in states. I mean, I live in Diani and my daughter cannot say hi in embu!!!!! Very shameful of me.
How kamba parents teach their kids to speak their language even when they are living in a place where the language is not spoken has amazed me. Being a Embu living in Machakos for the last 3yrs has made me rethink teaching my kids to speak my mother tongue. Kamba kids combine their mother tongue, English and Swahili very well even reading it so well. It's not yet too late you can start it.
Last born here. Such complexities you can never shake off especially if you are 80’s or 90’s person. I am the last last among 1 big brother and 3 sisters. They are my best. But shida ya hapa na pale! Wah! I think me and my siblings all agree that communication would have been better. We are good though 😢
My siblings treated me well. As last born Our parents were something else. I don’t blame them. I understand my parents well. Sometimes I still judge my mom especially religious stuff.
