  • Clean beer lines are integral to maintaining the quality of beer and the Bottoms Up Draft Beer System. If you aren't cleaning your beer lines on a regular basis (at least once a month) you can fall victim to issues such as yeast, mold, beer stones and bacteria in the beer you serve to your customers. On top of that, it can lead to malfunctions in the system itself.
Luckily, cleaning a long draw (remote) glycol-cooled Bottoms Up Draft Beer System is a rather straight forward process. We even recommend doing away with a cleaning canister and just using a couple of 5 gallon buckets. Not that you can't use a canister, just why spend the money? Don't worry though, we go through both methods in this video.
You'll need the following to get the job done:
    - Two 5 gallon buckets or one cleaning canister and one 5 gallon bucket.
    - Some dish soap
    - A scrub brush
    - A bottle brush or small toothbrush
    - Beer Line Cleaning Solution
    - Access to warm water

Quick question for what perpose do you have for the reverse fitting on the flojet pump if to not use it for recirculating cleaning? Also like the bucket technique👍

Just incase someone wants to use recirculating cleaning. It also makes the layout of the tubing cleaner looking.
