When they came through my village of Uppington-on-Downton, something seemed off about the royal couple and, when they passed by the receiving line (I am our village’s sheep barn docent), I noticed a distinct odor of alcohol coming from William. I fear he is imbibing during daylight hours and that could be how he yielded to his crass and pagan urges regarding Rose.
