Sir i need help with the vibratory bowl feeder. I've already explained my graduation project. Had to stop due to some unavoidable situation. Please help me. I've sent a mail few days back.
It depends somewhat on what engineering challenges you want to solve. You'll make best use of your time and iterative problem solving skills if you have a reasonably modern PC, especially when analyzing very demanding systems. And basic PC goes a long way with this technology. Here are the system requirements: www.spaceclaim.com/en/Support/SystemRequirements.aspx
Hello, how is the vibratory bowl feeder done? (The second animation). I'm a mechanical engineering sudent, and i'm trying to make one of that in spaceClaim momentum for my graduation project. Would you help me with that? Thank you!
Hi CustomBike, There is a growing (yet limited) selection of tutorials available on UA-cam. The Description of each video contains a link from which you can download and study the model first hand. The following tutorial is about setting up contact properties, and the model is a Vibratory Feeder: ua-cam.com/video/TP_oSQxRJ78/v-deo.html. See if that helps (note that it includes a script that drives the electromagnetic actuator). Other then that, I would suggest that you try to model the system the way it actually is designed. One tricky aspect of the vibratory bowl feeder, is the fact that the leaf spring suspension is rather complicated. It twists and goes up and down, yet must remain level and be able to carry the load. Typically, the main challenge modelling these systems is to do the actual engineering part. Once you've played around and figured out what the design should look like, setting up the simulation tends to follow and be quite manageable. I'll see if I can dig up one more example for you. Just a minute.
Algoryx, hello there, me again.. I have learnt a lot about the software, but I'm having issues with the simulation at bowl feeder, the particles are not moving because the bowl are not vibrating. Would give me some advices? Thank you!
Which software do u use
Algoryx Momentum. www.algoryx.se/momentum/
Nice program

This example shows the leaf springs more clearly: ua-cam.com/video/PjPk17TyWFs/v-deo.html.

Please reply sir
Thanks for reminding us, Raj! I will help you. I'll respond to your email before the end of the day and help you get a good start with the tool asap.
