It would be helpful if you could zoom in closer. Thank you for sharing a sneak peak of the new catalog. Free as a Bird Set is definitely a must have on my wish list.
I don't have any editing software that allows me to zoom more than once on any video - so for the ones that I am in - they only go so close, lol. All of my cards can be viewed close up on my website after you watch the video. www.stampinonline.com It is a sweet little set!
Cheri's Cards by Cheri Stojkovich: I know it’s challenging to make home videos on a budget. I make them as well, so I understand about zooming, but if you start closer and work in a smaller space (about the size of the grid paper), it allows the viewer a closer look at the project.
Yes, that does work when I do them and I am not in them - but I feel (and I have take some youtube/social media courses that verify it) it's important for US to be in our videos too. How do you change the camera view when you go from you to your project. We have an expensive camera we are able to use for our group videos that does it for us, but I don't own that, so I do the best with what I have. I know that people feel like they know me from my videos (it only takes being at ONStage a few minutes before others come up and introduce themselves) so I don't want to not do that part of it. But, it's not in all of my posts - I feel like I offer a good mix. It's free - if they don't like it they can go find another demonstrator that suits them better. My online classes are all super close up, but those are for my paying customers. I would love to know how you operate your camera when you are in the shot and then go to your project. I will watch some of yours later - I had camp this morning and now we are off to Avengers!
I do like how you are apart of the scene, so taking the video from that direction definitely has some advantages. What I’ve noticed is many demonstrators start with a face to face and then flip the screen down to their work surface. My filming is strictly showing my work surface, which doesn’t offer a personal feel, but better shows the project. I also have my tri-pod/camera set up on my right side.
Anyway, I wish you all the best and thank you again for showing some sneak peaks. I can’t wait to pre-order on May 2nd!

Thanks Lisa - I actually made a very similar one for camp that I filmed on Monday and will post later today! The coloring was a little different on it. Didn't have enough left of that paper and wanted to use the new Grey blends. Love those little birds!!

Hi Kaye! It is spring here and the birds are crazy - we have feeders out our windows so the cats can have some entertainment. Whenever we go back to Oz the minute I hear the birds it feels like home - but when I lived here it was the same (except when we came here in winter, lol - then you get nothing!) What part of Melbourne? We lived in Surrey Hills.
