I guess the writer is suggesting that in worship at church pastors hardly kneel for prayer.....of course we can't kneel while driving, working or when we are at a restaurant but while in the house of God we really should....

I respectfully disagree that speaking in tongues is babbling. Carnal and emotional “Christians” might be babblers but not all of us are. I happen to speak in tongues and sometimes groan when I go deeper in my prayer life. It’s a gift from the Holy Spirit that has gotten me through some very difficult times….just me and the Lord. But to each his own!
Why is speaking in tongues important? That you need to do so. I'm wondering if I should do so, but why since I'm not edifying anyone? Does the Bible give clarity on this?
I have a sincere question that requires some back and forth. Why do Adventists make such a big deal about a day of worship when such a rule was never officially made law until Moses. You need a command, unfortunately, to make this an eternal and universal law. So why the pet doctrine? There is no reason to try to set yourselves apart as a way to gather more believers. That will come naturally just through simple psychology. Have entertaining and interesting people in your programs. It's that simple. The pet doctrines won't do it. It's a distraction and cones off ridiculous because of the dubious try at making it a moral and universal law..

Keep in mind the Sabbath was given in Eden before the Jewish nation ever existed and it’s the only one that begins with “Remember”. Something fascinating about the new covenant … Hebrews 8:10 “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” God wants to write His law on our hearts. We are saved by grace. No one has ever been saved by their works. God has only and always had one way to save mankind "the everlasting gospel" Do we still have sin in the world today? How does the Bible define sin? It says sin is lawlessness, breaking God's law. 1 John 3:4 It's clear from the Bible, Matthew 1:21 that Jesus came to save us from sin and he intends to, with our cooperation remove sin from our lives. He intends to give us victory over every sin that besets us. He will not leave us in the same mess He found us in. It's unbiblical to think God saves us and then leaves us to stay in bondage to sin. So if I know that stealing is a sin and I refuse to stop where does that leave me? In rebellion. Rev. 3:5 is clear, "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life…" A true saving relationship with Christ leads to a life of obedience to His commands and that includes His Ten Commandments. This is evidence of walking with Christ, not something we do to earn salvation. The Sabbath is a gift of resting in Christ, and the Bible gives us abundant evidence to pinpoint that day. The Scripture is also clear, there is another power that has attempted to change that day of rest and it will lead to a final choice for mankind in the end. Worship God according to His Commandments or Worship the beast on the day he has chosen. I hope that helps clarify the issues.
