Dear Indian Government, please give this guy Indian citizenship and help him prosper in his business. In turn he will give back to the society and help the locals.
He can apply for citizenship by naturalization. If he is resident of India for 12 years, he is eligible. Tibet is his home. He may want to go back some day to his parents and don't want to lose the opportunity of Tibet being his home again. As he told, He is Indian by Heart.
Yes we Tibetan can apply for Indian Citizenship but to in order to preserve our own cultural languages and nation. by giving citizenship mean you gave up Tibetan cause ... slowly Tibet will vanish if every Tibetan apply for Indian Citizenship. We flee Tibet in order to protect Tibet.
This will be a great way in fighting against china if this man is supported in a good and effective way. Please support the Sharlho Foundation , And The Gaddi people.
This man deserves Indian Citizenship! He has done so much for the community. I will pray that you will be able to see your parents and live an even more happy life :)
This is a very beautiful content, a blend of preservation of at-risk local traditional handloom skills and innovative Tibetan designer's creativity. I am a Tibetan born and raised in India, legally we are not even refugees, we are stateless. Not complaining about it, just wanted to share. We are raised to be grateful to India. We all are and always will be. Love from NYC
I don't know if Tibetan refugees living in India are offered Indian citizenship or not. But if not, then please demand for a bill in Parliament to offer Indian citizenship to all Tibetan refugees.
Hello @@Charvak-Atheist , thank you so much for your suggestion. There is a statement (not a bill) released by Delhi High court (in 2017) stating Tibetans in India can apply for Indian citizenship but there are few requirements to it. Some of the few that I know are, we can longer stay in Tibetan refugee settlements, need to surrender any benefits provided by Central Tibetan Administration (Tibetan exile government), and must born in India between 26.01.1950 to 01.01.1987.
@@chemidolkar4059 oh. I think Tibetans should be given more free movement and pass in the policies. Like loans for education and business. We can together fund a page to help them achieve their dreams and aspirations. Development will perform and voice, a step closer to Tibet
@@TW-ew9lw Thank you so much for your feedback. As far as my knowledge is concerned regarding obtaining loans in India is not easy, even for Indians. I guess they have to show some property documentations. Tibetan diasporas are trying to help each other as much as we can with our limited resources. But unfortunately, Tibetans in exile still face financial challenges in regards to funding for education or starting businesses.
Giving local artisans a chance is in itself great work. Much better than some Indians doing unnecessary activism with 'boycott China products' . If every Indian bought locally made products it will be a huge boost to Self Reliant/ Atma Nirbhar India as well as revive the local production
I think India's traditional knowledge and way of life is making a come back....next time i visit dharamshala i will definately buy something from your store....apart from visiting my favorite restaurant MCLLO

This is probably not relevant to the message you are trying to bring forward, but that background music just makes me sick and irritates the hell out of me.Its just gut churning and I have an innate dislike for it. Please for heaven sake use more Hindustani or Tibetan music to portray something like this.arghhhhhh!!

Tibet and it's culture has so much similarity with our Sanatan Dharma. It's really sad to see what happened to the natives of Tibet.
religion is similar....culture poles apart
I really despice the cheap quality things those are coming from our neighbors and flooding our country.
