Diehard made some comfy coveralls. They felt like pajamas! They sold them at the K-Marts that closed down here in Michigan. I wish I had bought more of them.
I've been considering buying coveralls for quite some time but have never done it, I used to see them at Wally world for $39 to $49 depending on the size of boy those days are gone, wanting to buy them a little bit bigger so they fit over my regular work clothes just looking for another layer in the cold. Online is sometimes cheaper but you don't get to try them on.
I wish I would have seen this video earlier.Great video. I'm 5' 8" tall, Chest 46,” Waist 49” (around bellybutton), I tried 40 reg, 42 reg, 46 reg, now 52 reg. The 52 reg works for the chest and stomach so I can wear cloths under the coveralls, but the length is way to long and you can fit 2 butts in the bac kand the crotch looks like I'm carrying a big load. What's you recommendations. All recommendations and instructions are greatly appreciated. These are used for general home use.
Just bought my first Dickies coveralls. Fixing my cars and working around the house can be dirty business. I look forward to getting some use out of them. Hopefully it will keep away the mosquitos when working at night down here in Florida.
Great video! I’m looking to buy some coveralls but I’m having trouble finding my size. I’m 5’9 and I wear 40x30 in pants. what size would you recommend getting?
Based on a coverall size chart, I would recommend Large or XL x Regular Length (depending on your chest measurement). I also will base coveralls on your shirt size and size up one from that (to give you room in your shoulders, as they tend to be tight through there for most of our customers). Send us an email at info@frclothingandsupply.com, and we'd be happy to send you the sizing chart!
1:38,,,, hes right lol. I had coveralls 100% cotton,,, it was a perfect fit for me,,, untill i washed it and threw it in the dryer.. it shrunk on me BIG TIME. Haha i looked stupid trying to wear it after it shrinked
Coveralls are great, and cotton canvas/twill can be a good outer layer to break the wind, but when you are layering in for the cold, you DO NOT want cotton underlayers
I love coveralls...but, I have a very hard time getting them over my shoulders....I have a short stride..and the coveralls I have are from military surplus...they are GREAT!...but..I have to FIGHT to get into and out of them..and at 62 years old..I don't want to fight....
Thank you for the comment Michael. I feel ya on getting in and out of them. It can be tough some days. The only thing I could think of is go up a size and get a short or extra short. They would be easier to get into and with the short that could take care of the crotch issue. You could also switch over to an insulated or uninsulated bib. Bulwark has a zipper that runs all the way to the hip to make things easier to get in and out of.
Thanks Lamont. I am 5' 11" 200 and I wear an XL-Reg. Here is a sizing chart from Lapco. Getting your chest size is huge. Off hand I would say a L-Reg. www.lapco.com/pages/mens-coverall-sizing
Hey just subscribed. I like and need coveralls that can take weekly washings and hold up. Which ones fit this need ? I have a heavy insulated pair on very cold days which are far and few between but it’s too hot most of time. Maybe ones not as super insulated ? I would purchase several of quality to wear all the time . Nice video Thank You for any assistance
Hello, what size would you recommend? I am 6'3 tall with fairly long arms and weigh about 170 lbs. and I like to wear thick clothes under the coverall.
Im 6 foot tall and anywhere from 130-140 pounds, and a size large fits me. I mostly wear them in the winter when out and about to stay warm. They allow plenty of room for layers. Given your height and weight, i would say to try a large tall or an extra large, i think the extra large tall would be a bit overkill.
Coveralls are great as they give you multiple options as to what you want to wear underneath. In the summer, many customers will just wear a pair of shorts and a light t-shirt, so they stay cool. And in the winter they can layer up with a hoodie and sweats underneath. You will just want to make sure and size accordingly for what you are layering underneath them. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
Hmmm. Maybe try a size up and a Long instead of a Regular. So instead of a L-Reg get an XL-Tall. The tall gives you more length and more room in the crotch area.
This guy has no clue about fabrics Cotton is the most breathable fabric the other ones he was naming are made of polyester. Polyester is like wearing a trash bag. It’s plastic
Coveralls, one of the most underappreciated articles of clothing.
It really is a shame, they are just so comfy and convenient.

Brands? I was thinking of picking up a pair from Red Kap.
We have had great luck with FR Coveralls from Lapco and Carhartt. Both are high quality and reasonably priced.
What's the price of coveralls..in rs
I like wearing coveralls my problem is there a lil snug in the belly area or to short in the leg

How much po?
I don't like coveralls, no matter what size I get, they are always too tight in the shoulders.
It’s just the stretch on the back with overalls makes it virtually unbearable
Somebody needs to come up with a good way to take them off 😅 if your holding back a bad shit you really start sweating getting them off
This guy has no clue about fabrics

Money
I don't trust thear work it's bad
I like coveralls because I go under the house
