I have 3 kids but my two littles are 10 months and 3yo and every time they need to take a nap but are fighting to stay awake I put on these videos and they lay next to me and get so relaxed they fall asleep within 10 mins or less. They get so entranced watching the videos they quiet down and lay still and just drift peacefully to sleep ❤️

Great....i love it.i. 30 years old but now trying to relax my mind by watching and trying to paint.its like a meditation.now i can understand how amzing nature blends its colors...think im seeing the nature in a different aspect
What kind of pastel paper did you use? Also, I agree with Jing Wang about the colors -- it would be so nice to see them applied step by step, so we know exactly which colors you're using for each element of the picture. You are using so many techniques that a little voiced-over, organized instruction would make this a powerful video. Love the image, by the way. Super job.

Amazing work! This type of oil pastel painting is exactly the style I want to learn and I feel like its rare to see people doing on UA-cam. I wasn't sure I wanted to try this medium until I saw your videos. I've seen you use Mungyo and Paul Reuben in your videos, can I ask, which do u prefer and why?

Thank you! I'm glad my videos are helpful. This one I used Canson oil & acrylic paper. I've also used Canson pastel paper, and some other watercolor papers. They are all good

Hi~ Thank you for your comments! So sorry I can't read or type in Korean. I used google translate to help me understand your comments :) It is a great question. I painted with layers so yes the later drawing will cover some of the previous drawing. I do this because I want have different layers or different shades of green, so that the color looks rich. Also I wanted the colors to look more naturally mix together. I hope I answered your question :D
What type of paint did you add with the pallet knife? Acrylic or oil paint?
Oil pastel. This painting is entirely oil pastel. I used the paint knife scrape a little paint from oil pastel and apply it onto paper.

Ahh that's not a pencil haha. It is called blending stump, a painting tool for blending/mixing colors. Just google it you will see. I brought it on Amazon :D

Hi, thank you for watching! That is a blending stump, made with paper in a pencil shape, for blending colors. You can easily buy them online :)
how did you blend the colors? using white colors?
Yes sometimes. If the color needs some white in it, I will use white to blend. Sometimes I use a light blue or very light grey to blend sky. Other times I use a blend stump or just use finger to blend.

I've used oil pastel paper, watercolor paper, oil & acrylic paper. They all work well! Personally I like oil/acrylic paper the most.

Great picture...just one thing though, you put up so many like and subscribes up in your video you need to put up what colours of oil pastels up instead.

I am sorry, this is one of my first videos. I made a bit too fast. Maybe you can play it with 0.75 or 0.5 speed. Hope that will help!
