Absolutely the best. Stranger ROCKED all night long at the Treehouse in Hallandale. Ronnie Garvin was THE BEST guitarist that I have EVER seen. Miss my friend and brother...

Great band! Had the pleasure of playing a show with them in New Smyrna. I was playing drums with Slab. Not to long after that Ronnie had passed. A Sad story. R.I.P. Ronnie!
I remember my first time ever seein these guys was @ the hurricane andrew benefit concert me and my crew got in for a can of food donation Russ Albums was MC'N. After that day i was addicted to THE STRANGER BAND. No venue was to far, no show was to late at nite. Those were damn sure the good ol days brother. R.I.P. Ronnie!
These boys were like having my own local Van Halen. I'd give anything to have a few more nights rockin out with this line up. I used to light cigs and feed them to Tommy throughout the shows too. And Ronnie would rub my sister's and I hair while playing... Miss!
Kick-ass swamp rock - stand back - it doesn't get any better than this - one hellatious, drive it home, southern rock, badass band, and I wanna hear from anyone who saw them blow the roof off M.L. Chasers. Love 'em! Righteous! More videos?
im from Mulberry, used tp bartend at kokomo's-seen them blow chasers & winterhaven & daytona & lakeland & tampa & everywhere else in between RIGHT UP !
They are performing under the name of "The Greg Billings Band" and they played all their iconic Stranger songs at this year's 2008 ribfest in St. petersburg, florida. I thought they were great.
@Paintedwindow I was there , remember when Aldo Nova got TP'ed then left the stage after like 3 songs? lol Stranger was great , left an impression on me for sure. UFO was touring The Writer LP *82 sounds about right , coincidentally I play in a UFO tribute band called Strangers In The Night out of the S.F. bay area.
Saw’m three times at the Playground South in Sarasota mid 80’s. Yea. They were tough. Ronnie was the icing on the cake. What a loss. God bless and peace to all.
49th street mining Co.,The 11 arches and Crown ( scrownge? ) lounge on us 19 in New Port Richey! There all gone now but the memories live on forever! I miss going out to have a few beers and hearing so great local rock n roll!
Anybody know where Ronnie’s Strat ended up? I hope with the family, but I’m just wondering. Heard a lot of great stuff played on that axe over the years.
ya know, Ronnie had an extremely tweaked pickup in that strat...most guys that tried to play it, couldnt hold the bar chords down and make it sound right....he showed me what he was doing to get it to shine up right....very unique approach.....Greg remembers everything even though he claims it was a blurr....lol
Stranger kicked all kind of holy hell!!! Now, Greg and Tom kick more holy hell in the Greg Billings Band!!!!!!!!! YOU MAY NOT LIKE IT, BUT YOU BETTER LEARN TO LOVE IT, 'CAUSE IT'S THE BEST DAMNED FLORIDA ROCK AND ROLL IN TOWN....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Just the way I remember the Stranger Band, brings back some great memories
Good gosh Ronnie was a truly gifted guitar player. The tone, tasty phrasing, aggressive style and presence on stage. Good song writer too
This band had it! They were the quintessential Florida Rock band! Miss those days big time! Stranger was a killer band that had it all!
They got screwed.
I remember ages ago hearing this song on the old Ron and Ron syndicated radio talk show, so glad it surfaced again!
