Good job. As an old sailer, our rule of thumb was to try and be at your destination by 3pm. That way, you always have a time buffer. Your video brought back wonderful memories. You're making yours. Enjoy!! And thanks!
Good job. You say people that cross oceans with those crazy waves.. give it time the more you sail the more you fall in love with it. If you really enjoy it some day you tonwill cross an ocean. I hope I'm around to see it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😮
So happy to see you wearing your vest. Great overnight trip. Loved the music in the background. Happy for you & that Dan got to experience the trip with you. Love from TN.❤
It's great that you had Dan with you. Those winds can come up and surprise you sometimes. What a great adventure and to have that memory to share with your brother. Congrats on becoming a seasoned boat sailor!
Man I have some catching up to do! Like this water adventure! Logger man Dan didnt look so sure about the waves haha. Such a nice nice sunset!!! Thanks for allowing us to join you.
You're doing great. I learned to sail on a J22 at the College of Charleston, SC. I got certified to sail a catamaran up to 50' and 18 tons. I love sailing. You will learn a great deal by trial and error, I enjoy your videos.
@ TigerGaRob Since you're experienced, what was the risk level of the highest waves in which they were sailing? Looked rather crazy to this non-sailor, but is the sailboat considerably more capable?
I watched late last night...we woke this morning and I told Uncle Harrie he had to watch! It was awesome Pete. Loved Dan was with you too. You lived up to the name "Adventure"! Now how can we become a Patreon??
Great video so exciting I was a little worried but I kept on telling myself you guys are OK. The video is out. This video was great. I felt like I was watching action movie You did great handling the boat 🛥️ you should be very proud of yourself. Great job until your next adventure. Stay safe stay strong and may God watch you through this amazing adventure, my friend And I just love that awesome view at the end ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ great video so exciting
We loved this episode soooo much! You and Dan did an incredible job. You are both so capable. We’ve been following your family for years, and it’s been a blesssing to watch you both grow up into incredibly competent men. Cheers to your new adventure Pete. We look forward to following along. ❤ Paul and Angi Jordan
Great first trip out and overnight! Some tense moments but persevered to the destination. Such a peaceful night! More camping on the water!! Looking forward for more!
Hi from New Zealand. So nice to see you into sailing now. Hope you lads are enjoying the thrill of the (fresh) briny. I'm sure that your sail back will be enjoyable also. I look forward to your posts. I've only been on a sail boat once in my life, many years ago; and that was a trailer-sailer: so not all that big; and it was on Auckland harbour--somewhere around mid 1980's, and about roughly 5 knots, from memory; so you fellows are really into the good stuff.
Gosh Adventure Guys, that was fun. I'm very glad Dan accompanied you on your maiden long overnight cruise. Dan bore that special expression which indicates 'Mal de mer', which I had so many years ago too. I empathize with you. Hopefully you have a wee book into which you may write down the gripes you have to attend to. Until I did, I never got everything done until an emergency occurred! :). Thanks for inviting me. I look forward to seeing you soon and hope Dan has an easy time of it getting more good logs for his new forge shop. Be safe.
Wow! You are very brave. Looks like a lot of fun! Consider getting a lanyard for your phone so that you don’t drop it overboard by accident. I don’t know anything about sailing, but it looks like your motor is still trailing in the water even though you’re using a sail. Should the prop be brought out of the water when you’re not using the motor?
Awesome first sail…..it’s like your first solo in a plane, scary but exciting at the same time! 👏 glad you got your boomvang and lights setup 😉 . Sure brings back memories ⛵️😎
AMAZING. Love watching your videos. Share them with my grandsons.

What an awesome experience for you and Dan both! It is great that he can learn along with you.

Thank you. Yes, that would be quite the adventure crossing the ocean.

Where’s Lando?
So cool!😎👍🏻
Brothers, don’t trade that time together for anything.
Beautiful views. What type of CGM are you using? I just started and it’s life changing.
PETER: your patreon end screen requires attention.
What would you do if alone and you lost your phone? Just curious
I have a two-way radio and Zoleo satellite communication device 👍🏻
If Dan is with you, where is Lando?
With cousins at the cabin.
The berth looks so cozy. Is it difficult to film while learning to sail? Seems like you got the hang of it pretty good now. Good luck 👍🏻
