I heard is song on CBS SATURDAY MORNING, one of the mornings I felt defeated, my mother has dementia and the pain we both feel is indescribable. This song gives me hope. Oh the tears I shed❤
I lost my mom last week, she had dementia give her a big hug for me! You will miss her when she goes, enjoy your time!😘
I feel that pain too! I've been taking care of my Mom for 3 yrs now(Plus 1 yr in an assisted living facility). I understand that feeling of defeat. Many times I've thought of giving up, as life seems to just keep piling it on. I don't think I've laughed or smiled in 4 years. My guitars collect dust along with everything else in my life...I'm glad you've found hope. But this song just reminds me of the music career I've abandoned.
I’m currently fighting acute myeloid leukaemia and this song is my inspiration, there’s no mountain I can’t climb.
WOW! FULL CIRCLE. I found this guy in 2006 "when your minds made up" lost who it was. Now 2023 i recognized his voice instantly. ❤❤ damn i got a few years of music to sort through.

I had the great fortune to hear Glen perform his new song at The Stone Pony this week. No one sings so deeply from the soul and with such exquisite range as Glen Hansard. There's No Mountain is one of those songs that becomes a heart go-to the second you first hear it. If you ever have the opportunity to see Glen Hansard live, please do. Such a special experience. And I was the "One Trick Stone Pony" gal, Glen. Thank you for moving me/many for nearly two decades! I even saw the Broadway adaptation of Once. Big love and baby blessings!
