I wanna see Tolbert get a shot at WR3. In a small sample size he did well. Let’s see what he can do with more targets. Hard to get into a rhythm when you’re hardly playing.
Thanks for the video. Overall, I like this draft class. There are no choices that make me shake my head and wonder "what were they thinking?" Last year, I saw the Schoonmaker pick as silly. I saw the Nahshon Wright pick as silly. There have been a few other choices that just seemed silly. This year, I see most of the choices as reasonable even if I would have gone in other directions. We needed offensive line help, and we picked up Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe. That felt great. Nathan Thomas could end up being a good backup or might even become a surprising star. I don't see the edge need as being as critical as others did, but I think Marshawn Kneeland could be a great pick. Linebacker was absolutely a need, and Marist Liufau at least seems to be good enough to generate buzz. We always need to be looking for cornerbacks, and Caelen Carson might be okay. That they picked up Josh DeBerry as a UDFA means that they willing to look for other diamonds in the rough. The drawbacks that you mentioned are why I wouldn't have drafted Ryan Flournoy, but I don't hate that choice. I was disappointed that we waited until the seventh round to get a defensive tackle, but maybe Justin Rogers will be a steal. Maybe Denzel Daxon will make the practice squad and then have a future on the team. Brevyn Spann-Ford could be a nice addition to the tight end room. None of these choices seems silly. Many fans seem to want to see Jalen Brooks emerge as WR3 over Jalen Tolbert. I understand the argument that the Cowboys have more invested in Jalen Tolbert because he was an earlier draft pick. On the other hand, there's a point at which people feel that we are sending good money after bad. Many of us feel that Tolbert is a bust as an early-round pick. We'd rather forget that we made this mistake and move onwards. Maybe Jalen Tolbert will become a solid contributor. Maybe Jalen Brooks will become a solid contributor as well. You are right that the Cowboys almost always make a spot for their draft picks. Ryan Flournoy will likely be on the team. Maybe his speed will make him a solid WR3, but his age suggests that he won't really have the potential to become WR2 or WR1. The lack of potential is frustrating. That he may end up as a WR5 who doesn't contribute on special teams is frustrating. The wide receiver corps certainly seems to be Lamb, Cooks, Tolbert, Brooks, Flournoy, and Turpin as we go into 2024. Maybe they'll stash someone on IR this year. Otherwise, two more will end up on the practice squad, and the rest are camp bodies on their way to spring football.
Our WR roster not looking so good really wish we got that guy that was playing for the Jacksonville jaguars..Zay jones?? Too bad he visited us and we couldn't offer him shit....i pray this rookie from JUCO football becomes a beast and our #2 WR.
Turpin needs to be in the slot and we need to abuse three WR all year. Enough of the two TE none sense, everybody knows cowboys running the ball with two TE.
Flournoy highlights are nothing special. Pros 1. Big body 2. He can catch (hell yeah) 3. Route running excels in short yardage and decent at mid range 4. Advantage one on one with CBs and SS (red zone threat) Cons 1. He does not run fast in Pads/helmet. 2. Seriously lacking in the Yards After Catch category 3. He’s so big I rather have him in there to block then to catch. Perhaps gain 30 pounds and be a decent size TE. 4. Not NFL ready.
Rate the Cowboys’ rookie class: A, B, C, D or F!
Hopefully a B+
Especially after last years draft
B
Can we at least see them in 1 real time game before giving them a grade 🤔
Too early to grade any of them
Hoping for a B+ or higher, hoping bebee can be big in the run game.

The person I think is going to step up in the passing game is someone no one is talking about...
& that's John Stephens Jr.
It’s evident they drafted him to be a bigger better gallup and I’m all for it
Turpin didn't get the usfl MVP for just returning the football. He has WR 3 ability.
True, I think the team just struggles to find ways to use him.
How many catches for Ryan Flournoy this season?
I dunno 🤷♂️
IDK will see this season
Dunno
Regular season? Maybe 5…🤷🏻♂️
6, 5
Thanks for the video.

A great three offensive lineman. Great cb just hate the LB pick in the third
I loved the thinking with making those 7th round picks and would not be surprise if both make the team...
C - OL looks good, but not drafting a RB or WR was surprising.
If possible he could be the next Miles Austin
C+ We haven't experienced the team play...
Do a video about Marist liufua. I hope he becomes a long time cowboy. He can be the best linebacker in the league within a few years
DC4L!
I'm excited for Flournay too. But I think Jalen Brooks will be the big surprise.
Go Cowboys
A+ and yes
Dez like skillset hella upside he just needs a shot Jalen Brooks ready too
Dez had to step up from his rookie year.
Our WR roster not looking so good really wish we got that guy that was playing for the Jacksonville jaguars..Zay jones?? Too bad he visited us and we couldn't offer him shit....i pray this rookie from JUCO football becomes a beast and our #2 WR.

Flounoy gotta learn speed in his routes.
Brother I hear everybody talk about Ryan Flournoy. His name gets brought up significantly more than Caelen Carson
Y 🙏🏽
I’ve heard more of him than I’ve heard of Kneeland.
I believe the Rookie WR gonna have 34/44 Catchs for 350 yards/ 5 TD
I could see him making the team but I think I would keep zeke Dowdell freeman and. Peat
He actually reminds me a lot of smaller version of Aj Brown 💎
Turpin needs to be in the slot and we need to abuse three WR all year. Enough of the two TE none sense, everybody knows cowboys running the ball with two TE.
It is a B. Kinda felt like we should have paid Biadasz or found a way to keep him last year but…
Put emphasis on production, not investment.
Dc4L
Catches: 20 pending who's cut or injuries
I'm guessing he'll get about 15 catches this year, might be more if CeeDee continues to hold out well into the regular season
I think Ryan Flournoy may start.
C+
DC4L.
20 catches.
Idk I could see him among the roster but also not bc of his age he is older and cowboys have a tendency to not like older players
Not going to lie if it wasn't for the drafting of Cooper Beebe this draft would be a F-

If the Cowboys sign all UFL players, they will be a UFL team. How original!!
Knowing the cowboys they will let him slip away, he could be a possession reciever Mike Ervin had hopper so why not give this guy a look ?
I’m biased because I wanted Rice
B+
This is how bad this roster is. We are hoping a 6th round draft pick from a small school can be our 3rd option.

DC4L go Dak
Way too early to evaluate this class, they’ve never played a down
A
Hopefully the next Antonio Brown without the diva drama
23
I wish he was a little younger
gives me gallup vibes
Can we see him play first til then you know nothing
This team is not as good as the last two year teams we had. Our chances are toast. We still have trashcott, more excited for SEC football.
