His defense against good boxing has been a little sketch at times. Before he bust his knee I was scared Blades was gonna catch him. If he can sort that, he has everything. And such an amazing guy. Amazing ambassador for the sport, for the UK, great role model for youngsters. Would love to see him become champ.

Glad he’s back! Yes he technically lost, but he’s never really been beaten in the ufc. This will be a good fight! Hope his MCL stays healthy. I tore mine when I played soccer in college and I kept trying to come back to early and messing it up. Now I can’t play anymore so I hope he was patient and healed up properly

Listening to Tom is what got me into ufc and it was just from hearing him speak. Started to watch his interviews before i even watched him fight. Then fell in love with the humility and warrior spirit. I never realised half these fighters dont have a pot to piss in. They give eveything and they all deserve our respect. I'm always up until 5am now watching it from the uk! Best of luck Saturday fella

Love Tom, him talking about his low point when he couldn’t walk really hit home. I’ve just had acl & meniscus surgery and currently sat here with a huge brace on my leg. Can’t walk for 6 weeks and then I start physio, it sucks but is what it is

It's like watching the handing of the torch taking place. Bisping, you were [and still are] a bloody legend [and a cheeky bastard haha - never change!], where Tom Aspinall is just an all around stand up bloke. If Ronseal made humans, they'd of made Tom ["Does what it says on the tin" - not sure if this reference travels in other parts of the world]. From being mates and being able to get Tom out of his shell, really makes for a great interview. I hope that we in Cymru will have a UFC Champ in Jack Shore, but the next UK champ is definitely Tom. The old dog and the young pup (albeit massive young pup!). Love these two, you can feel the love and also the competitive edge - Mike doesn't want to give any ground to the young champ and the young champ knows it's his time. It's like Mike's passing the baton over but just making sure Tom knows what it means...

Love Tom he's absolutely amazing and will absolutely win the belt, but yes his injury was serious, but try having a busted up foot then catching MRSA fast forward years below knee amputation, fast forward few more years same leg above knee amputation by that time I was mid 50s, I am 62 now.

I love how everyone just wrote off Stipe. Its all Jones this, Jones that. I really cant think of many times Stipe was a favorite to win. Sure age is a factor but he would have been written off even if he was 34 years old. One thing is for sure, if Jones loses he wont fight again in heavyweight.

Its far from just age. Its the damage, the inactivity, the injuries, he had a bad split with his camp that was with him his entire career, and his dad passed. He has a lot to come back from. Also that shot he took from Francis (two shots really) were chin enders. He probably will never take a shot the same
