He can play ROBAB & DOTARA also. Make more students & teach your beautiful techniques to them. To keep this instruments alive for ever in INDIA. Subham Kanjilal is a legendary musician, will be more famous & popular in India. I respect Tapas Roy & Pradipto Sengupta. I respect too Mr.Jaswant Singh Jolly ji for his great & golden BHAIRABI tune. For which it was possible for me to know this sweet musical instrument 50 yrs. Back. Now i am 60 yrs..

Subham rocks! As a mandolin player I’m amazed that Indian music works so well on the mandolin. But I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised. Shankar’s violin duet with Mark O’Connor called Nomad is exceptional. My music is mostly bluegrass but I sure wish I could learn how to make that cool “woof” sound on that Indian percussion drum.
