I have struggled with this for so long and this lesson is now my resource for nailing it! Thank you, Mr. Masopust for your help, and time creating such detailed content within a tidy, perfectly concentrated video. I have a lifetime of learning Czech ahead of me and I am blessed to have you as a teacher!

Hello, what's the difference between "Ďe" and "Dě" ? Does "Ďe" exist in Czech ?
Good question! ĎE, ŤE, ŇE do not exist in Czech. The hook is always over E in these combinations, so it's always DĚ, TĚ, NĚ.
i have a czech boyfriend and i can't even pronounce his name properly.
Well, some Czech names can be quite challenging :) I'm sure with some patience it'll work out ;)
