towards my opinion I think this soundtrack had the most emotional songs i've ever heard in a love story movie, every song in this soundtrack that is a score is so beautiful, and some of them make me cry everytime I listen to them.

True love is about loving someone unconditionally without expecting anything in return. I love listening to this piece. It reminds me of my childhood sweetheart. We are apart right now, but I still think about him and sometimes wonder how he is doing. I know he misses me a lot too. We are apart because of his family obligations and our different religious backgrounds. It just didn't seem like it was the right thing for me to do at that time and we had to go our separate ways...
I finally get the birds metaphor in this movie.. It makes it less sad for me.. In the end Noah and Allie are free birds, free to laugh and love eachother for eternity in heaven. It's a happy ending to a tear-jerking, heartbreaking movie

To me the notebook is also a brilliant movie in that it captures the dreams of all who love truly in that all of life and eternity is spent together.
Just now and then a screenplay, casting, acting and film score come together and make for a magical experience. You just knew from the opening credits this was going to be a masterpiece. Hold your breath moments, emotions tested time and time again. Thank you Aaron Zigman for writing such a fantastic score complementing this remarkable love story, surely one of the best ever told.
This is rarest of the rare when it comes to skill and creativity. I would absolutely love to hear this live. Especially the last 60 seconds. It's timeless, yet it transports you to older, simpler times.
