I have the Forno 36,moyer on left side is noisy, they sent out their guy said it was ok so i disconnected the one on the left, it still works great with 1 600 CFM motor. Much quiter now. Warmer lights work great they get really warm after 3 or 4 minutes. The barn door oven works amazing and the 6 burners i use alot and really like them. The middle griddle is the best part.
Beautiful hood, what does your make up air look like?
Thank you!! Extremely helpful! I like the Kitchen Aid as well but the price is a bit much. I'll go with the Forno. I checked out your other video. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the video! I have the Forno 48" that I've yet to install and I'm on the fence with this particular vent hood. Does the heat warmer work well? Overall are you happy with it? Also what size are your upper cabinets, 36 or 42? Thanks I really appreciate it!
I also have the following video which has it with the 48 inch oven ua-cam.com/video/0EBNrUBe6OY/v-deo.html&t. We do like a lot, but we did buy some larger red bulbs at Lowes so that it would heat up a little more. We previously had heat lamps in our old kitchen so it was a must since we used it so much. The vent hood is more industrial looking and we were debating between this and the Kitchen Aid which aesthetically is nicer but way more expensive. We decided to install tile behind it which we are happy we did. The upper cabinet is 12 inch deep and it's an 18 inch wide and a 30 inch wide. The upper cabinets are not super useful because the hood does need two vents, so it uses a lot of space. If you do get this hood, make sure they run two 6 inch vents up or have them merge to an 8 or 10 inch vent. My contractor ran one 6 inch vent and we made them modify it so that there was enough venting out.
We have the exact same hood and range waiting to be installed in our new home being built. My question is, what did you do for "make up air?" Do you have that coming in somewhere else or is yours a tight home that needs make up air?
Our kitchen has a big opening to a living room that has two story ceilings so we have lots of ventilation from that space and no need for makeup air.
