I respect the fact that you wear gloves. The collection will always be pristine without finger prints.
We all love a new box set. Colourful. Full of photos we’ve all seen many times before. With tracks we have 25 times over. With all the tracks being digitally tweaked in Sun studios. Wow.
It’s yet another ‘snow’ job.
Where’s ‘Rubberneckin’?
Elvis actually sang with himself on ‘Don’t Cry Daddy’ at the same time?
JB’s lead guitar solos on ‘Promised Land’ sound like he was in the car park.
Inconsistent placement of the 73 backing vocals.
No need for ‘Hey Jude’ ‘She Wears My Ring’ and ‘If That Isn’t Love’
The Dutchman would chomping on his cigar with glee!

♥ The only right question is: They did 1969 pure undubbed CD box - BRILIANT! 1970 undubbed CD Box - BRILLIANT! 1971 again CD box - brilliant! And not further???? Why don´t do it further like the super thing started???? All sessions after 1971 alredy brought - in pure undubbed - AS THE DID BACK THEN IN THE STUDIO!!!! EVERYBODY LOVES/D LOVED IT! New interested people as well as experts or "experts" - I WANT THE ORIGINAL SOUND OF THE STUDIO-WORK as released before so good!!!!! I don´t want NEW SOUNDS! (So far the only super thing was BURNING LOVE with the new mix with the orchestra - AS THE VOICE OF ELVIS IS MORE IN THE FOREGROUND! ) Since the 1980s they did sooooo many strange things .... even round FTD ... sometimes super ... then next time so strange actions .... well, well, well, well, well, well, well .... as during the live time of ELVIS PRESLEY - THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE - sooo many mistakes with him - with his unique art ... BUT - ELVIS IS STILL SO STRONG AND OUSTANDING - SO ELVIS WILL BE FOREVER THE OLYMP OF ENTERTAINMENT! ♥
Awesome set you must be listening to a different set all those complaining should just enjoy what we get.
I got mine yesterday, love all the remixes. Especially the 1969 sessions.

A few thoughts on the set
1. Where are ‘Rubberneckin’, ‘My Little Friend’, ‘And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind', ‘Sweet Angeline’ and A Little Bit Of Green' ?
2. If you are keeping some songs off the set. Surely, ‘Hey Jude’ ‘If That Isn’t Love and ‘She Wears My Ring’ and ‘Three Corn Patches’ should be omitted?
3. The guitar and piano are out of sync on ‘Suspicious Minds’
4. The remix of ‘Promised Land’ has the organ high in the mix. Nice to hear in the intro. Bloody annoying throughout though. Burton’s guitar solos have lowered in the mix. In fact he sounds like he’s in the car park.
I could go on. But I’ve got things to do 😊
😂😂 you’re totally normal.. I’m exactly the same or perhaps worse, the guys I regularly purchase from know from experience with me that I will only accept pristine goods, 1 little tear in the cellophane and it goes back ! Unfortunately it’s a disease for me, I go further I buy 2 of everything, 1 to open and 1 to keep !
And meanwhile no alternatives takes of hound dog and don´t be cruel, and we´ll die without them.
That's because they were recorded in new york not memphis
Outtakes of Hound Dog and Don't be Cruel were never found and do not excist today officially, and were probably destroyed forever with the clean out of the RCA vaults in1959. We can only hope they will come across these Outtakes someday, if someone made a copy of the session reels, but I wouldn't hold my breathe.

Since you wear surgical gloves, I suspect you are keen on receiving your newly bought Elvis items in pristine condition ? Since I’ve been having this problem off and on for many years and am a little frustrated about it… What do you do when you receive Elvis cd’s, books, vinyls … that have scratches, dents, dings …? Do you send them back to the seller, when they’re not pristine, asking for a replacement copy, even if you have to do that more than once, or do you just keep the relatively minorly damaged goods, avoiding the hassle, accepting it ?
I must say, personally, that I regret generally keeping the minorly damaged ones without complaint, through the years, as it can sometimes put me in a bad mood watching them on shelves in between the pristine ones, even if they have minor blemishes on them. I sometimes think I’m not normal for being so picky. I regularly have some minor damage problems with the corners of/around FTD books, how about you ? Sometimes it looks like someone dropped them, one or more deep wrinkles through the thick cardboard front or back side corners. And it’s not the postal service, it’s where I order from, they decide to ship these imperfect copies regardless, now and then, instead of sending them back to FTD, and I don’t think my fellow Elvis fans are as picky as I am ?
Naturally, they read “just as good”, but immediately lose value, and I also see everything “Elvis” I collect as an investment, aware of possible future changes in finances.
I am the same and want everything perfect and will ask to replace if I can.
Pourquoi avoir mis "See See Rider" qui n'a rien avoir le coffret ?????? C'est ahurissant !!!! Je ne te comprends pas...
