Many countries in history (including Chile 🇨🇱my country) went through very hard times trying to define if the country would have a communist or a capitalist/socialist economic system.
But there is one place where they solved this differences in the smartest way I’ve ever seen!.
The country of Israel 🇮🇱
When Israel was formed, many people had capitalist ideas and many had communist ideas. Instead of forcing everyone to live under the same system, they defined the country would be a free economy and who ever wanted to live a communist lifestyle could do it inside these communities called Kibbutz 🤷♂️👏🤯Genius!
In fact the system worked so well that the Kibbutzim are still an escential part of the economy of this country
Originally many Kibutzim had a truly communist system where everyone earned the same salary, they shared a dining space, people took turns to work on the different things needed to make the place function, like picking up fruits, cooking, cleaning etc. 🏡🏡🏡
Today there are about 270 Kibbutsim in Israel and each one has a slightly different system. Most of them don’t share everything anymore like they used to, but is more like they are all share holders of the entire community, and over time, the people living in kibbutzim got richer all together.

The date you gave is a date in which the lands were not controled by an independent Palestinian entity.
Let me give you an example of what independence is:
-The kingdom of Israel, 1047 BCE (not AD like your date BTW, its much more anciant). The land was owned by the Jews and the governing entity was a monarchy.

The Kibbutz idea was actually much stronger in the past. Today, most of the towns that used to be a kibbutz are now just normal towns, and the few existing ones are not as communist as before. In the past, people even ate together at a shared dining room, and all the kids of the kibbutz slept in a children's nightcare, seperated from their parents.
