Yes they do, I found it best to use on the down ramp

@@andiroo ohh cool, just came back from the Mitcham track and it was great there! I'd have thought to use it after/during corners to get a quicker exit

​@mohsindulloo347 The boost mode is kinda misleading. It actually just gets rid of ur speed limiter for 6 seconds. More similar to a drs in F1 cars. So you'd want to use it in the faster sections.

@dheegayuranasinghe725 ahh yeah I've been to the Watford venue now and the boost is pretty dead tbh, track is too small for it to be really effective. At Mitcham you actually get a power boost and its really handy and fun to use since you really feel it, hopefully they get the same karts at watford too.
