When Stoli cast hypnotic pattern at 1:45:28 she also caught herself in the area of effect which caused herself to be hypnotized (ie incapacitated) and that condition automatically causes those affected to lose concentration. So since she caught herself in the area but lost concentration on the spell immediately, the spell ended and the rest of the party was unhypnotised. So all her hypnotic pattern was able to do was end the spells people were concentrating on. Just wanted to try and explain to you all why you all lost concentration, why she lost the rest of her turn, and why none of the enemies stayed hypnotized. Great session though! I’ve been enjoying the playthrough and getting to see so many alternate repercussions to actions that I never got to see in my playthrough.

So I need to remember to cast hypnotic pattern well away from me from now on! Lol my bad.
