My grandmother used to use this expression all the time. She was born in Scotland and raised in Canada. An interesting fact about my grandparents, they met performing in vaudeville in the twenties. I wish I had of got to know my grandmother better, there is so much I would of loved to learn from her.😊🇨🇦

My family was the third bunch of Europeans to arrive in our county. The only people to swear by Joe Hayes that I knew of were us and one of the other families.
