Man, Mario characters were merciless in the GC era. Mario tore off a Blooper's tentacles, Wario was landing spinning piledrivers, and here's DK just throwing hands at everyone in the jungle.
I like to imagine that this game takes place before the donkey kong country games, and all of this violence is how DK took control of his country.
Coney seems to be having too much fun brutally slaughtering whatever happens unfortunately cross his path.
Coney went from loving pigs and hating monkeys to embracing his inner monkey to kill pigs
God I played this game so much on the Wi, my favorite DK game.
This was legitimately one of my favourite games back in the day, trying to figure out how to full combo some levels was so fun!
It's actually unreal that a game with these controls not only exists but that it actually plays like an actual video game and is as rad as it is

As someone who went all in on points for the gold, watching it the second time is just as painful

Man this game is literally a prequel to Super Mario Galaxy. A lot of the sound effects and music sound similar to ones in SMG, and some game mechanics are literally in both games lmao.
