I think since my Unc turned me on to watching these African movies, Francis Ben, Emem Inwang, and Chioma Okafor are the real actresses I've watched with Chioma Okafor being the talented, the most versatile of the three. As a matter of fact, I'll go so far as saying, hands down, in MY OPINION, she's the best actress in Nollywood. I could be wrong, but I don't think there's any actress better. I have her first and Francis and Emem 2 & 3, in any order you choose. I know you're have a difference of opinion, because you've been at this for a minute, but I'd like you to hit me up. I know its a movie.....but It's so so improper and out of place for a married man or woman to have such bestie and this close...... whether there's no strings between these besties....alot of viewers are saying lovely movie and might think it's okay to have bestie....its morally and everything wrong....
It all boils down to trust. There was no intimacy between them. Moreover her husband met her through him. They are more like siblings… they never crossed their boundaries. All they talk about was her husband.
It also happen in real life shuu like say na back world you dey live

The man married her with a male best friend this close. He knew the dynamic of their friendship, but chose to marry her anyway. So was she suppose to end her friendship to make him feel secure? He should have never married her.

I only didn't marry him because he wasn't God's choice....I wouldn't mind if the man I'm with have a female best friend. If I feel insecurities may arise, I won't marry him. I'm not making anyone choose me and later resent me, because they lost friendships or family closeness....just my opinion.

The wife is playing victim.... she hurt her husband and caused all the chaos. A married person will never accept that his/her spouse is best friends with the opposite sex esp when they are too close like in this movie, no matter how they pretend everything is fine.
Yessssssss I totally agree because all the time he was over to the house then on top of it they lived in separate homes and I know it may sometimes where marry people do live in separate homes and they just spend the night over to each other homes

I think this movie goes deeper than just the simple “best friends of the couple” narrative… this is a woman that has so much trauma and needs help.. the husband nor the best friend have the tools to help her… the character, and I know this is a movie of course, should have never became a wife and mother prior to receiving help… now everyone is hurt due to her trauma…leaving separately? Having a schedule with the kids while married?! I really hope that this is not based on real events because if it is… I really pray for all parties involved
