Quite a few bikes turned up outside our fire station about 8pm , at first we thought it was odd until those of us that ride realised we were one of the checkpoints, even got a couple of our guys in the photo, pity you were all in a hurry ,we would've invited you in for a beer. I noticed they were mostly large displacement bikes. Hoping to do the TT one day , not sure how the back will handle it on a T7.
8pm might be to early to be cracking a beer on the ride hahaha. Just do plenty of conditioning rides and you be all good. Would be great to have you join in the fun.
I did as well but was back over the east coast before most of the rain came down. Just got drenched just north of Invercargill when a cloud burst snuck up o me from behind
LXG Brother! Was watching a young Norwegian girls motovlog and see your face pop up on the screen!! Nice videos bro. Will have to get the Harley down there. This TT2000 looks cool 🤙🏾 Tam
Was about 3hrs behind you by the looks of it. Arthur's Pass in the dark followed by dense fog and dark from Springfield to Darfield. Not fun, but character building haha.
Yeah I really wanted to get through Arthur's pass before dark. I enjoy the views through there so much I didn't want to miss it. Hope your event went well.
5:54 made the edit! Motueka looked like the Headingly car park when we got there! Those first cps can be crazy busy when the red mist descends
Yeah I am not a fan of the first few. I did think the mystery CP I went to might be busier but we were some of the first there thankfully.

@@kiwimotoadv Yeh, didn't want the riders falling off their bikes either, was good to have a quick yarn to the riders while they took a photo though.
Caught beer time at Hurunui Fire station on the Friday and was a bit envious🙂
@@PistonBlown Likewise, a few of us riders were envious of you guys. Hope you had a good ride.

Awesome video Glenn, great seeing your route and view. TT x 10 is fantastic. Well done. Fancy having time for dronage. I’m pleased you did.
Thank you very much mate. Looking forward to your take on the event.
Awesome footage!
@@SirTAZ thanks Shannon, most of it comes down to the places we get sent 😁
@@kiwimotoadvlol I was watching it with my wife telling her it looked a lot nicer in the daytime when you rode it than it did at night when I did it!
@@SirTAZ Yes, the views a very limited in the dark lol
Great Video . I chose to go down the west coast ,a good amount of rain on Saturday :)
Thank you. I tried to spend as least amount of time on the West Coast for that exact reason.

Cheers brother, glad you like them. Anytime you are down here with your bike we have to go for a ride, would be great to catch up.
