From a practical point of view, have your dryer sit on a shelf above the washer, that way any future maintenance means that its not a devil's own job, as a past AEG technician I've always done this and you can incorporate a pull out basket shelf under it.
If you are doing another reno some top tips to get max sale price with higher end finish . Coving will soften and finish the room. There is a lot of reverb in the main living spaces which makes it appear cold / stark . Coving and reverb absorbing fabrics / rugs / cushions etc will knock out that cold vibe. Engineered oak flooring is actually far cheaper now than it was 10 years ago. Its absolutely worth it because laminate not only looks cheap but it hasnt got durability the way engineered flooring has and the difference in price is worth it because you will get a discerning buyer who will pay more for quality.
Great video Louise! We are only just starting our renovation project, my wife is loving your vidoe's as she can't wait to decorate the inside of ours - even tho we are no where near that part of the process yet!
Very brave to have all that black we did similar some 30 years ago but when the family came along it was a nightmare. Have, love how you recycle items. :-)
Hi Louise, absolutely love your deco style! Whats the name of the oak flooring and where did you get it from pls? Also, what white paint did you use? thnx
Thank you 😊 We got the Pelmore Elgin Oak laminate from discount flooring. We usually just use the Dulux white trade paint, it’s pretty affordable and good quality xx
Oh my god! 🤩 What a fantastic job you’ve done with this house!! 👌👏👏👏👏 I so enjoyed seeing each room’s transformation & I CANNOT wait for the garage transformation!!!! I appreciate that it’s going to be a BIG job, but will make for a great transformation video 😀🤞🤞 Out of curiosity have you guys had the house revalued yet? Obviously you’ve added value but I just wondered if it’s as much as you had hoped. Anyhews, SO looking forward to the garage and garden videos 🤗 xxx
Thank you so much 😊 yes we have had it valued 🙈 it’s been valued a little over what we were expecting but who knows what we’d get when we sell it 🤷🏼♀️

New sub, been looking for the coffee table DIY video but I can't find it.. is it on your channel?
Hey 👋🏼 it’s actually on my other channel. Here’s the link 😊 ua-cam.com/video/XV4PO0KbIrE/v-deo.html
Did you consider lime washing the brick?
Looks good, prefer your neutral colours
