I started getting it 6 years ago I didn’t know what my Dominican doobie shop was putting in my hair I would just get and where weaves over it after the first wk then last February I felt like I needed to cut my hair so I chop off a lot and by this February it grew back twice as long so I got the treatment again in April and love it I do know for 6 months if I don’t get it my hair pattern comes back now that I found you I wanted to invest in your products to see would it grow thanks for sharing
Love the results! When it's fresh like this how do you do your gym prep? I feel like exercise is where my hairstyles go to die 😩 Trying to find a straight style that lets my active life try to be great 😅
Lol 😂 I feel your pain. With the treatment I find my hair doesn’t revert much in the beginning but after it’s starting to rinse out I use a sweat band and leave it on until your hair is dry

Getting hair “keratin” doesn’t mean you’re “not natural”. Keratin is not permanent.
I love my coily hair but I've never been able to achieve length. This yr I have and am really focusing on no heat anti breakage styles. And my hair is very short and uneven so it hasn't been cute. Fortunately I'm single cuz I'd probably get dropped bcuz of my hair lol. But my hair has till the rst of this yr to show me sumthing and I think it will be this. I'm wondering how it holds up with gym and sauna and steam room bcuz I do. Thx for very direct review on treatment

Which products did you use from the She Growth line besides the oil you showed? Did you use their mask, shampoo and conditioner or the Cloive Organics whole line? Your hair looks amazingly healthy! I am transitioning from relaxed and have decided to go with Keratin and I like the Cliove ingredients. Whatever you did it is working!
I used the full line from the She Grows hair care. And I would alternate the Cliove conditioner/deep conditioner every other wash day.
i just got mine done and i’m so scared to wash my hair 😭 do you use any oil or anything so it can grow? i live in florida as well and had a breakdown after spending hours ironing my hair and the second i step out the house it POOFED lol so i initially went to get a relaxer but the hairdresser recommended keratin treatment
Yea girl I’m on a hair growth journey lol I use the She Grows Haircare mega growth serum. I oil my scalp once weekly, not when I first straighten my hair but the 2nd week. And if I’m bunning I’ll oil it more

Yup! For the past 6 weeks I wore a wigs or I do ponytails buns. I only put heat to my hair 2x month max

So after getting the treatment done how did your hair hold up with working out?
It held up really good. Thru sweat and all it didn’t revert. Only when my hair grew out obviously the untreated parts puffed up
hey is it necessary to use hair dryer if we do keratin treatment?
Do you wear leave out sew ins, clip ins, tape ins, etc? If so how soon do you install extensions?
As a first timer, how often do u do touch ups/go back to the salon to get it done?
I do mine every 5/6 months. I do it all myself

Yup!! I just refreshed my color so it’s been almost 6 months with that which I like. I didn’t want to color too often
