- I do a couple of thrift flips and work with wood. Of course I am keeping the thrift flips. I would keep the wood pig too but I have another cut out I just might do for myself. I also use the Dixie Bell Patina Paint. I love how easy it is to rust whatever you need.

Thank you so much!
All so cute!!❤
Thank you!
I so glad you are doing this small crock I bought 3 at the thrift store!!!!! THANK YOU so much!!!!! 🐦⬛
It turned out so cute. I love it sitting on my coffee bar.
Oh my gosh lady!! Thank you, thank you thank you! I absolutely love your channel and all the wood working DIY‘s. Thank you so much for using your scroll saw. You made it look almost like a sewing machine so easy to glide through. I’m always afraid that little thin blade is going to break when I turn something. Tomorrow I am definitely going to give it a go. I’ve had it for almost a year now and have never used it… :-(
Still watching the video. Just want to tell you right off the bat how cute the pig is already, and you have not even nearly finished I will get back to you at the end of the video I know it’s going to be amazing! Again, thank you so much for the lesson! :-)
Thank you! And yes you need to try out your saw. Sometimes if the turn is too sharp I back out and go in at a different angle.
Great flips but I wanted to cry when you painted over that awesome burgandy paint.
I know maybe I should have just left it that color. I’m not use to burgundy but since I’ve went back to primitive I’m starting to like it again.
Wow… I thought the pig was going to be my favorite. But honestly, if I had to choose, I would not be able to. I would have to buy them all! Would have not done anything different. You do amazing work everything was so beautiful and primitive!
FYI, here in North Carolina sometimes I get a lot of gnats and I will do the vinegar in the bowl trick that works really well!! Also, thank you for the tip on the chalk mix. I never seen or heard of that.❤
Thank you! I’m going to try the vinegar. They drive me crazy!
Love all three projects, I just can't pick a favorite!❤. I really wish you were closer!😁. The light box looks great on that riser too! 👍
Thank you Evelyn!
Your pigs are so cute! 🐷
Thank you!
I kept thinking of you yesterday because I think you once said you are in Oklahoma I know some heavy storms went through I hope you and hubby are ok as well as my fur and feathered buddies xoo
We are in the NW of OK. I believe the weather was to the east of us. We could sure use some rain though.
Use a sprig of sweet annie on you little crock instead of pip berries. I want one of those little pigs with a star. TFS love your channel.
Well I think I will do that. Thanks for the idea!
I love all of your stuff! Do you ever do anything with recycled cans (like soup cans)? I am trying to do a primitive snowman and somewhere along the way was thinking I could incorporate a tin punched snowflake lantern in the arrangement but I am in over my head at this point 🤦♀️
I use to do a lot with cans. That was a long time ago. I have done a few of the cans with the bottom smashed in. They turned out cute. I get in over my head a lot...lol
Sandy, I’m just loving your primitive makeovers. That pig you did is adorable. I want to make one but I had a Cameo silhouette but I couldn’t figure it out for life of me. So I gave it to my girlfriend’s daughter. You see I’m not good with technology. I can’t even figure out my computer half the time😁. So is there a way I could look up a pig on the computer n print it out? Also is there a special program I have to use to get it?
That crock with crow was so cute. Loved that too. I wish I could find a box you found as I would love to make one of them too. Where I live (Florida) my town doesn’t have much of thrift stores. All we have is Goodwill n Salvation Army. That’s like hit or miss too. I’m having so much watching you make some adorable things. Thanks for the inspiration. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
Shelly, my next video I am going to do just prints on a 2x4 with a pig, lamb, and chicken. It will be easy to do.
Where did you get the light I luv it. I luv your style I have finished a lot of my projects just watching your videos. I even have a couple things. I just don’t know what to do with that. You would probably have a good idea. One is an old metal match holder.
I bought the lamp from Amazon. I plan on buying another one. I love it. I did a match holder a long time ago. I painted it white and went around the edges with black to make it look like enamel ware. I used a black paint pen for the black. Black paint would work. I added a bird nest in the bottom and had some greenery in the top part.
These items are what I consider “cutesy Prim”…
I will agree with you. Good word for them!
I was thinking hang it from his beak lol
😂
