Predicting Big UFC Fights That Were Cancelled

- There have been some massive fights booked in the UFC have unfortunately been cancelled and we never saw it again, so I predicted some of these big fights in a video. Let me know your thoughts on the predictions and if I missed out any fights.

I remember when we had olivera and Islam as the poor man’s Tony and khabib but then the 2nd fight got canceled witch made it more true

@@shiraq_kaz5161 but he absolutely is though. Islam is equivelant to him in wrestling but unlike Khabib has good striking too which makes him better. Islam has also had to face 3 different world class wrestlers/grapplers in Arman, Charles and Volk meanwhile Khabib only fought 1 dimensional strikers his entire career and never had to fight someone whose good on the ground.

Nah honestly costa wouldve got submitted in the first round, costa doesnt have good grappling defense like usman does
@@imgoingtohell6650 Costa has been a blackbelt in BJJ for years and has good ground game he just doesn't use it, kinda like Gaethje having a great wrestling background but refusing to take the fight to the ground

Dont think Fergusson was able to be finished by KO/TKO back then. Definitely see him getting a 4th round sub though.
He was mounted by Kevin Lee and saved by the bell, knocked down vs Vanatta, dropped vs Pettis twice, I mean even Abel Trujillo dropped the guy. His Most impressive win is a washed RDA. The second he fought elite competition in Gaethje, he was absolutely mauled. Then after that he was outwrestled by Dariush, Oliveira, Paddy, Chandler, Diaz, AND Bobby Green. His run is one of the most overrated of ALL TIME. The reality is, prime tony gets 50'44'd by prime Khabib or tko'd due to ground strikes and it wouldn't be close. And I hate Dagestani fighters.

Prime Tony is overratted. He didn't really want to fight Khabib, Tony pulled out 2 times in 2016 and 2018. Tony also didn't want to fight Poirier, Poirier fight Holloway instead. When he fought Gaethje, Tony got exposed (Gaethje didn't even have full camp still dominated).

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the reason Khamzats cardio has gone down so low was due to him getting hit by covid so bad right before the Edward’s fight, so he may have blown through him pretty easy

RDA would’ve been a rough stylistic matchup for McGregor. A southpaw with great defence, kicks, grappling and cardio.
He would have struggled to get in range without being chinned much like Eddie, if it were 2016 Conor that is. RDA probably destroys Conor these days though..

id say zabit beats yair because of the jiujitsu and grappling, wich we saw in the ortega II fight that yair´s is not very elite
Also Zabit’s stamina was only bad because he was sick constantly, if he was able to recover, like how he has now, he’d dominate
I think Ferguson from 2015-2017 before tripping on the wire would have won against Khabib.

Tony lost a lot of muscle later in his career by overtraining and his shit diet.
He has grey hairs now and he is barely 40 , accelerated aging by deterioration via training and weight cut
Ferguson just statistically has nothing khabib couldn't just shuck off. To beat Russians you need ko power(which tony never had) and good anti wrestling (which tony never had). Tony overly relied jiu-jitsu which we definitely know now just gets you pancaked vs very strong wrestling. Ferguson gets destroyed anytime after khabibs dos anos fight.

I actually have to disagree. Let’s not forget Kevin Lee had the edge on Tony Ferguson, before he got submitted. Tony doesn’t deal well with a lot pressure and many matches showed that. Plus Dustin Poirier confirmed and said Khabib’s pressure is next level. So Khabib would’ve won

@@zinax25 it wasn't shit. He had a condition that caused diaphragm spasms. For those that don't train, that would be like fighting with severe hiccups and not being able to breath correctly. He got surgery to fix that. Context matters.

@@grump9283 he never fought after the surgery so sadly we won't know for sure. But I had a buddy with the same condition who would gas in every Jits match. Afterwards dude would break people with his cardio and just look at us and go "SEE, I TOLD YOU IT WAS A MEDICAL CONDITION". We still just say he was being lazy all those years.

I had bad pectus excavatum which is essentially a dent in the chest which applies pressure to the heart and lungs and got it fixed 8 months ago. I didn't realize how bad my cardio was before until i got it fixed, i deadass feel like a whole new person and i even outlast my friends who are lifelong athletes in like basketball and shit. I think its just the feeling of not being able to breath and your body getting used to it and now that you finally can its so much easier.
