I met Rob Thomas at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA, on September 30, 2009. He is such a warm Soul. Matchbox Twenty came out halfway thru the concert and performed with Rob. It was one of the most amazing days of my life. To meet , touch, and talk to such a legend is an out of body experience.

he has never received the credit he so rightly deserved. but then when the crowds show up for his concerts, it speaks for itself. matchbox 20 was my children's first concert. my daughter was in 5th grade, son, 3rd grade. daughter loved it. son not so much. last year though he called me all excited. for a wedding present they were going to see Rob Thomas. he knew I would join in his excitement. as he explained to friends and his wife he grew up with Mom always playing and talking about Rob Thomas. he loved that concert!
imo they are one of those few bands that sounds great in LIVE performances.. im 29 and thankful i grew up with this kind of music.. simply one of my favorite band ever! still gives me goosebumps..

I saw them with my daughter once a couple of years ago. Then they're coming back with the Counting Crows this summer right after my birthday and I'm taking my oldest son and daughter with me. We really can't wait; they put on an amazing show and just being there is going to be fantastic. Memories will be made that night!
I feel so privileged to have seen this band live...I took my friend who had never even heard of MB20 and she was blown away, even though she didn't know any of the songs....they are FREAKING AMAZING LIVE.
My mom used to play matchbox 20 all the time when i was a kid, and we would always listen to the albums on repeat on our road trips to Chicago (ive got a lot of family there) and now i can't drive through downtown Chicago without this song playing.
