Glad the Loc journeys coming back to UA-cam . I started mine about 2 months ago and had to dig deep for Loc Journey videos well “Male” versions but I’ve seen every video now so this refreshing! Ima start uploading mine close to my 6 month mark also. Keep it up bro 👌🏽
When ever I went to the gym I would put on a durag, or stocking cap to hold them in place. As they mature though a head band will do the trick to stop sweat. But the main thing is after your done working out cold water rinse with a stocking cap gets that sweat off your scalp. Make sure it’s almost dry before removing them durag it. In the beginning I kept my hair in a durag anytime I’m not out doing something.
I cap up my hair every night. Not a durag but a actual cap. It’s silk and my hair look fresh for about 2 months. I’m dropping a new video soon show y’all where I’m at right now.
Yeah it def add a lil volume but man I have been having starters locs plenty of times it’s not how many times you retwist it’s what you do in between each retwist. How often you retwist
@@officialyac7346 Im on my second set now but i go every 4-6 weeks.. and that’s only cause I’m almost 2 months in.. then I’ll push it longer. I just never got why ppl have starter Locs and wait months to get a retwist in beginning stages. Personally ion think waiting 2-3 months to get a retwist in starter phase helps it mature any faster .. only time will. Stay loc’d my guy
@@bigdawg5150 Yeah my hair usually get twisted every month I’m about to drop the 12 month soon. After the 3 month wait I think that the budding stage was already done. But yeah you gone see man they pressure right now nice parts all even .

This is obviously a full head 🤦🏿♂️
Full head, I just don’t like the thin dreads toward the front so I keep that cut low . Dropping a QA Soon.

Why did you wait 3 months for a retwist on starter Locs?
Gives the hair time to mature and add volume to it

@@wantdasmoke904 either way it’s gonna take TIME to mature.
