Add all percentages and divide by 5 (number of values) then you receive the answer. 49.6

This technique is applicable only for those questions whose data is in the multiples.

Heyy guys, according to that table all was divisible by 85 and after that my solution was 62 % . since according to the question it is find the percentage of the females as in question its given the male percentage , according to that to find the female percentage we need to do : 100% - 62% = 38% . As in many of the comments section i found 62% which is completely correct but thats the percentage of males and to find the female percentage just subtract it by 100% and you will get the right answer. Hope I am right. Thank you

56+ (12×5+ 0×6 + 9×3 + 4×2 + 7×6)/(5 + 6 + 3 + 2 + 7)
=56+ (60+27+8+42)/23
=56+6
=62
Therefore, Overall Percentage of Male= = 62%.
So, overall percentage of female= 100% - 62% = 38%.
